well, for debut...Bsides don't matter at all because they all need to be recognized first by as many people as possible in order to gain fans and that'd only happen if they're seen and heard in the promoted song...which reminds me of how Haseul was done so dirty in both Loona debut songs with mvs and even then people try to justify it with the bside comment too...but it doesn't work that way. She was one of their best vocalists, getting to sing one word and mostly shoved to the corner in choreo and not given styling that made her pop out, all the combinations to sabotage her. especiallyfor debuts which is the most crucial time to build their foundation for all members. my fav song from TOO/TO1 is Take It Slow and even there, a Bside, Jisu got tiny bits of parts and his first decent line was towards the end already which is....horrible placement n reminded me of Jeongyeon's part in Twice debut song. and Jisu's lines in Don't Fear Now, another Bside...i wouldn't consider 'a lot' just decent enough to look like he's part of the group...just that he got good placement and weight of part, being one of his two parts was the prechorus/chorus which is the exact same high note part as Jaeyun and that really put his vocals on spotlight n showed what he's capable of which actually surprised me considering how Jisu was usually treated in the lines. other than that...i guess...with Son of Beast, it started to look better because his parts was scattered around n many members got around similar amount but in truth...it's still in bottom three...in short Jisu and Minsu seems to be consistently getting very little lines...sometimes it's just not as noticeable because of their presence/positions on the choreo...Jisu became my one of my favs from watching RTK before i even got to know of his lines in their songs just because he stood out to me...but i guess if i had known it, it'd be the same since i just gravitate to members who are mistreated in such a way.
