I will try to make it. I only have three years of experience & I have only seen interviewers asking you to design big data pipelines. They will give you some constraints & ask you to design the pipeline. These are only system design questions I have faced mostly. A more experienced person will be a better person to answer this question.

Hey Siddharth It depends upon your experience and company for which you are giving an interview. Mostly, your hiring manager and HR will take care of that. Some of the companies focus on skills and some are very rigid w.r.t. to your relevant experience in the domain for which you are applying.
