Am I the only one who got really annoyed during cloud X when they didn't notice the probably much easier route on the left of the platform with the chest in the route that was just hopping along on ice blocks like the first cloud episode? Like it looked a lot easier and they just kept on trying it head on from the front and I was super annoyed no one saw it and tried it.

Brandon Wilson it's just one of the many mods on the pack. It randomly gives Googly eyes to some characters, it can happen to mobs aswell.

He's not leaving, just taking a Sabbatical. And won't be leaving entirely, he'll be in a minimal amount of videos for a couple months (he did state he won't be taking a full year off). After being in 30,000 hours worth of videos over the span of 15 years, he decided it was time to take some "me-time".

Vein Mine is a command in the mod they were playing that destroys every object that is the same within a set distance, assuming the tool doesn't break first. While great for mining, say tree leaves or gravel, it's not good if you mine the floor.
X5gamer5 _ Apparently Gavin (or someone else) used the command to "vein mine" wooden plank block, which removed all the planks in a certain distance from the original

I'll be honest I've been using YT since 2012 and I never knew this. I knew the quality goes up if you wait I just never knew it was because of how long the video's been out.
