Fresh to market this stunning 2008 Riviera 42 is one of the last built, the first of this model being released in 2003. Their popularity market by their impressive five years in production. Sold brand new into WA, 'Allure' has been very well cared for by just two owners.
The 42's are based on an extended Riviera 40 hull. The cockpit size is the same however the additional cabin space provides a larger galley and extra bathroom making her a true two x two arrangement with plenty of room to move around. The saloon sofabed takes her sleeping capacity to seven without the need to pull out the swag. With the starboard cabin single berth becoming a double, you could easily take three couples away for a weekend. Ducted airconditioning ensures the cabins will remain cool on those uncomfortable summer days.
The longer water line length and twin 490HP engines has her lifting effortlessly onto the plane swiftly, with no real requirement for trim tab adjustment at all. Cruise speed is approx 21 knots at 2100RPM.
Her engine room is very clean and boasts a documented service history including a major cooling system overhaul in 2020. She has a high production Citor watermaker (220L/hr apparently), so no need to worry about the kids wasting water. You will also have plenty of water to spare to wash the boat down.
The flybridge helm station is equipped with electronic throttle shifts and two late model Raymarine Hybrid Touch multunction displays featuring GPS and depth applications. Of course many more system can be added if required. A Raymarine auto pilot and bow thruster complete the navigation package. Another set of controls mounted in the cockpit allow for easy reversing into a berth.
Up on the bow rests the 3.1m Zodiac RIB with 15Hp outboard. This can be launched and retrieved using the electric davit system.
Her interior has been really well maintained, leather lounges are clean, gloss timber cabinetry unmarked, even the faucets have retained their chrome.
