I’ve had a life change and recently moved I had to downsize in order to stay in Florida but I bought a small ranch home and currently trying to to give it a cottage garden feel. I really enjoyed your content plus the soft music and the water sounds brought so much clarity. Also when you prayed to eat with your mom and everything was so healthy. That really resonates with me. I’m a widow now so it’s been hard on me. My family is north but I don’t have much and can’t afford the move back home. Blessed to be here in Florida and making the best of what I have left. She was abandoned by her own mother but she was able to forgive and she became a wonderful mother. She was able to give to me what she didn't have for herself. 🌴♥️🌴
Many years ago my grandmother gave me a necklace made from Sarasota beach shells. Watching you pick them up made me imagine her doing the same and created a lovely image in my mind. She has been gone 20 years now but I think of her often and now I have a new “memory”. Thank you.

The place where you had your picnic looks to be the grounds of The Ringling Museum. Anyone visiting Sarasota should go there. The grounds are as artistic as the museum…. Maybe even more so! Oh welcome to the channel. I know what you mean about missing your mom. My father passed away last fall and I am really missing him. It is so hard to lose a beloved parent.
So enjoyable when you see how people in different states have created their home and lifestyle around the beauty of that state. Having visited Florida a number of times I can vouch for it's beauty. Beaches are very different than California. Lovely, I also find those in desert states and rural farm states that have made their life beautiful, as well, with what the state offers.

It is funny I never thought my life was that interesting as I am kind of a boring person and I have a lot of dust bunnies under my furniture and piles of things around and weeds in my garden. LOL. The great thing about a camera is you can be selective in what you show. Also filming my home and garden motivates me to get things done as I am also a great procrastinator. My husband left today for training near DC so I was a little blue💙 but you brought sweet memories for me, you were not far from where I grew up💛☀️ The sweet and soothing sound of the gulf waters, the banyan trees, the geraniums, the jacaranda tree even the silly seagulls all beautiful pieces in my picnic basket of life🩷🌸🌺

Oh welcome to the channel. I know what you mean about missing your mom. My father passed away last fall and I am really missing him. It is so hard to lose a beloved parent.
So enjoyable when you see how people in different states have created their home and lifestyle around the beauty of that state. Having visited Florida a number of times I can vouch for it's beauty. Beaches are very different than California. Lovely, I also find those in desert states and rural farm states that have made their life beautiful, as well, with what the state offers.

I will have to make the salad and dressing according to your recipe. I need to head over to the beach to collect some crushed shell like you did. I have a bunch of agave plants that were gifted to me and they've made a lot of pups that need new homes. I've not thought of sea shells as a topping layer to the planter. Such a lovely video. Those Banyon trees! My husband and his family are from Lake Park Florida. I think he would love to move back. A huge Banyon tree they used to have in their yard. Amazing trees.
