I was truly having an awful day, feeling really broke and I was watching one of your haul videos and I think I said something like I was sick of seeing nothing but hauls and all the high end stuff you haul because not everyone has that kind of money to spend alllll the time etc. Like I said I was having a bad day and shouldn't have taken it out on you. This video was really good. I tell you I learn something all the time. I have been a makeup artist for over 10 years and you said something in this video that really stuck. I wonder sometimes why blushes look patchy on my client and won't blend. AND THAT IS TRUE. there skin is DRY...I have to be sure to have the skin very hydrated for everyone especially those with dry skin. Great video xoxox ;)

I pretty much never want for a neutral eyeshadow palette, but when I saw this at the makeup show, a part of me found it attractive... and now seeing your swatches and demo, I pretty much need to buy it. I just re-watched this vid because I FINALLY got this eye palette yesterday at the Sephora VIB sale. I am so excited and love the look you created. I may go back for the brush. I wish you had used the domed side so that I could tell if I truly need it. I also have the contour palette and think that it will be a perfect marriage.💑

Tara babe, this is just a little advice, not being critical at all!! When you swatch for us, can you make sure your fingers are dry & where you use the mu wipe to remove previous swatches is dry? Lisa Maynard I totally noticed that in this vid… I usually make sure they are dry, I was trying to hurry up swatching because my little cat was trying to wreck like everything… I'd lock her out of the room and then she would start scratching on the door lol… it was one of those filming days … I will say tho as far as coloring is concerned they showed up quite true… I think it was just the second swatch that my hand was a bit damp from the wipe :/ 'n Thank YOU!! I actually care for strays, have one cat of our own (who climbs the door frames & then jumps down after reaching the top) As of right now, we're caring for 8 fur babies!! 3 of which were just born March 25 & need homes desperately bad!!!! They all do but I'm only one person with no outside help so I'm struggling finding any of them help or homes! I'm doing my best for them though! Oops.. Kinda got off subject there but I'm EXTREMELY passionate about my felines! What I'm trying to say is I totally understand the kitty being misch herb!;kitty back ievous!!!! All she wanted was your attention. She was acting out so you'd stop what you was doing and have to tend to her. Adorable!!

Right before viewing your video I was online shopping at Sephora and saw Kat Von D's new Contour Eyeshadow Palette so I called my local Sephora and asked them to hold one for me....I fell in love with it. LOL..Well, after reviewing your video I REALLY had to have this palette!! The colors are awesome and so are your eyes! Thx for the vid. Phoebe is beautiful!!!! : )
Wow, whoever picked the colors for this palette did a really fabulous job. Best coordinated color selection I've seen in the past few years. By the way, I missed you ;) and it's nice to see you on YT again!
The variety of the shades in this palette really draw me to it, and KVD shades blend amazingly from my experience, but I do worry about how powdery they are! The matte brown in the Monarch palette (Vanish, I believe) kicks up so much product that I could see a noticeable dent in the shadow after a few uses even though I always have a light hand. Thanks for mentioning that this palette seems less powdery than the previous ones, I'll have to check it out when it hits stores.
I love this look but, I am passing on this palette. Viseart shadows stole my heart and I can't go back! KVD has some high quality palettes, including their new contour palette. Thanks for the review!😘

Absolutely great review Tara, has made me want to go and get it for sure but I can't really warrant the cost at the moment. Could you recommend a half decent dupe for the Lazarus shade? It seemed so versatile. The only reason I am asking is that we are the same colouring and it seems a great transition shade. I could look online but you have a really decent stash and I would definitely believe someone who has both rather than someone who says they look alike without owning either! Glad you had a great time in the Impala. I swear if you could ask my husband what my dream car was without me saying a word, he would tell you it is a Chevvy Impala (preferably with the Coke bottle styling). Hope your brother has a great time with it and I am SOOOOOO envious you got to drive it!

Right before viewing your video I was online shopping at Sephora and saw Kat Von D's new Contour Eyeshadow Palette so I called my local Sephora and asked them to hold one for me....I fell in love with it. LOL..Well, after reviewing your video I REALLY had to have this palette!! The colors are awesome and so are your eyes! Thx for the vid. Phoebe is beautiful!!!! : )

The variety of the shades in this palette really draw me to it, and KVD shades blend amazingly from my experience, but I do worry about how powdery they are! The matte brown in the Monarch palette (Vanish, I believe) kicks up so much product that I could see a noticeable dent in the shadow after a few uses even though I always have a light hand. Thanks for mentioning that this palette seems less powdery than the previous ones, I'll have to check it out when it hits stores.
I love this look but, I am passing on this palette. Viseart shadows stole my heart and I can't go back! KVD has some high quality palettes, including their new contour palette. Thanks for the review!😘

Welcome back :) I missed you! I know that probably sounds weird, but I really did. I was so happy to see this pop up :) Although, my UA-cam has gone nuts. It doesn't release things to my feed in chronological order anymore. It'll be a video from today, one from last week, one that's 3 days old....I like things organized and in order lol nope no ocd here. Anyway, I'm glad you had fun and that you are home safe!! Absolutely great review Tara, has made me want to go and get it for sure but I can't really warrant the cost at the moment. Could you recommend a half decent dupe for the Lazarus shade? It seemed so versatile. The only reason I am asking is that we are the same colouring and it seems a great transition shade. I could look online but you have a really decent stash and I would definitely believe someone who has both rather than someone who says they look alike without owning either!
Glad you had a great time in the Impala. I swear if you could ask my husband what my dream car was without me saying a word, he would tell you it is a Chevvy Impala (preferably with the Coke bottle styling). Hope your brother has a great time with it and I am SOOOOOO envious you got to drive it!
