I got the 14oz SF-H glove. It's so tight around the palm, without hand wrap it's fine, but with hand wrap it's almost strangling. Is this common for this glove? I had Cleto Reyes and it required 0 break in. And how should I break them in? Or it's just like this
@@ThatBoxingGuy Follow up after about a month of use. Everything is fine, except the lining. Its super shit imo. The lining teared and there's a small hole around the stitching (in my right hand finger compartment). And the material they chose absorbs sweat too much, making it susceptible to stinking. Wish they used those silk-like lining instead, then it would be a 10/10 glove.
So would you now say that these are your favorite over the p4p? And would you say that these have a more compact feel than the p4p? Which would you recommend more
The websites I would usually use are temporarily closed, Bobsfightshop.com and Classicfightshop.com But you can get from their actual sites (Fly/Phenom) custom fees are usually around $60 CAD. Depending on the full value
@@ThatBoxingGuy sweet thanks bro, do you have any idea when they are gonna open back up. Debating on waiting for black Friday or pulling the trigger now haha
@RishiSharma-du6im no idea, Bob’s is going under new management, not sure about Classic. Usually for Black Friday they have 10% off, while classic is up to 20%
Very different, the HDEF or P4P versions are more similar to the phenom SG210. The SFH padding has 3 main layers: Horsehair, hard foam, then soft foam. The SG 210 is more of a medium to soft density with a bit of a rebound to the padding

Mine were tight when brand new, it did break in for me after a few uses. How’s it for you now?
@@ThatBoxingGuy Yea yea its much better now. Lol it was so bad before break in.

I remember when you used to use your allowance money to buy your gloves😂
Yes… used to… 😅
Can you please compare these to Fly's $200 laceups? 🇵🇭

I really like both, but I like the hand compartment better on the P4P. Then again the padding on the SFH is so nice and pillowy
Ive heard that the leather on palm side is different that the striking side. Did you notice any difference in quality between the two sides? Thanks!
My pairs seem to have consistent leather throughout
Where do you buy your gear from? Im from Pickering so rivals are easy to come by but fly/phenom not so much in terms of headgear?

Another good Canadian site is undrgroundathletics.com

Actually classicfightshop.com is back online 👍🏼
i’ve tried on rival rs100 sparring gloves and noticed they have a bunchy liner. do these gloves have that problem?
Not at all 👍🏼

Can you use these for bag work
You could, I have been, and they’re holding up pretty well
I have hit n move balance gloves when I make a fist, it feels like it’s gonna break through the leather which gloves have longer finger compartments
The finger compartment is about the same in both glove, but maybe the rivals are a tad bit longer (like 1 or 2 millimeters)
If you had to rate winning vs fly softness/pillow feeling for their 16oz gloves what are they both out of 10?
Fly X is more pillowy, the Fly Lightning feels similar softness as winnings
That or hit n move horsehair ?
I’m still breaking in my HNM, but they seem to be better as a bag glove, but the Rivals are better as a sparring glove
