I've camped a few times. It's generally more expensive than staying at the strip, it's harder to sleep, and the food is trash to mid. The pros is you're 10-15 minutes from the speedway to your camp. It'll be cheaper if you get a decent sized RV and cram like 6-8 people into an RV. I think if you go with a huge group of friends and have like 2-3 loaded RVs it can be awesome. You'll need earplugs if you're a light sleeper because there's music blasting 24/7 and nonstop afterparties and preparties. And especially during the day, the morning after you stayed up zooted all night, there's jets flying around that's super loud as well.
Definetly camp is the way to go to avoid shuttle/ traffic drama. Only do rv camp as this year , even with mini ac units, many people in the tents had passed out due to heat exhaustion
lets hope for Diplo or Skrillex next year. Tickets already secured for next year as well. I got married this year at EDC so our anniversary will now forever be at EDC
On your point regarding lineups: I've found that for my very first EDC the lineup was everything because I was indulging in a whole new experience...............and that intrigue carried over into my second EDC.................then by my third EDC last year I found the lineup really didn't matter anymore because I had already seen most of the biggest perennial names and I adopted more of the mindset of "I'm not going to create a schedule: I'm just going to go with the flow and go wherever I'm moved!": and that shift has really helped introduce me to a lot of up-and-coming talent as well as under-the-radar names that often impress me even more. 😊 I'm delighted you found The Garden too. The Garden was BY FAR the single best-kept secret of EDC 2023. I serendipitously bumped into it when trying to find stereoBLOOM and it was by far the biggest pleasant surprise and standout of 2023. 🥰
The shuttles passes time is only important when you wanting to leave the strip to the venue And even then you can hop on any standard shuttled beforehand, they have a fast lane for being premier
We got our shuttle passes this year but we still decided to drive (since you can't drink on the shuttle) and let me tell you it was WORTH it, ~15 min to get into the parking lot (except Sunday) and getting out of the parking would literally take us 5-10 mins cause of the shortcut they put on TikTok lol Will be doing camp next year so lets see how that goes
EDC will always have a crazy production but I enjoyed Ultra more just because of the lineups and easier to find friends and production was still insane for a city festival
i thought wasteland was smaller this year too. Also heard from a friend that was building the stages that to make more room all of the stages were pushed farther out ( theres a track ring all around the venue for artists and employees to be driven in cars and they had waaay les room this year)
are service fees and processing fees used interchangeably? they typically charge this due to credit/debit card processing costs (although they upcharge to the consumer like a mf)

Several of the sets I attended at Quantum Valley in 2023 had the aerial hoop entertainers as well. (two-year Guelph attendee here!)

What did you enjoy more edc Vegas or ultra?
EDC will always have a crazy production but I enjoyed Ultra more just because of the lineups and easier to find friends and production was still insane for a city festival
Kinetic was smaller cause it was pushed in more on right side for other stuff i fotget the name of it
Would you say edc is worth going ?
wasteland got shorter and kinetic only had two entrances so it felt more constricted 😕

Hey, great video ! Did you manage to get your service fees refunded?
Unfortunately not ):
@@gabriellagloria_ :( it was a good cost saving idea! I'm planning to go from Australia.

Kinetic was definitely smaller this year!
couldn’t ya ship your wristbands to PR?
Unfortunately last year they got us to pick it up at this box office and couldn’t get it shipped or anything ):
@@gabriellagloria_ brutal! wouldn’t even let you ship to the states? was it the same deal this year?
Nevada has a live entertainment tax fee. That’s much of that additional fee.
what you have on the table there lol
rv camping is the way to go.
