@luziosalles324 one friend is understandable. You can enjoy a ride in peace. Group rides, on the other hand, are very messy. Im a cyclist and i can barely keep up with the mistakes other cyclist have made. I cant count the times i have been moved sideways trying to avoid them
Group rides are fine but make your own group and limit it to people you actually trust. Don't go to meet up/social rides. That's where you find the sketchiest riders.
Never have and never will. Groups are for squids. There will always be at least one person in the group who is an absolute hazard to everyone involved. No thanks.

Have found one of these riders before laying in a ditch, the group he was with had no idea he went down and left him behind. Ive been on an organized group ride before and was impressed. Broken into skill levels/speed prference, leaders and sweeps for each contingent. 75 bikes and not one downed rider.

its an R3 thing. mine got 7000km before the first warranty recall, then at 17K it decided the oil pump (another warranty) would fail and the thing would seize up as i was shifting first to second. yeah, it spat me off so damn fast... you dont EXPECT your engine to lock up as you take off... and how that usually busy intersection was miraculously empty despite peak hour... iunno. fate :) almost burnt me on yamaha. lucky someone gave me an fzr250...
Neighbor suggested I buy a 750 Katana after I finally went and got my MC endorsement. Nope. Nice looking bike, early 90s. Not the super special one. The seller has a 250 Virago that I'll probably buy instead. I only have several years of scooters under my belt and I'm not young. Really want a GZ125/GW125 or something similar for in town stuff only. TU 250X, TW200. That kind of stuff. I love the looks of sport bikes especially older ones. Crashing one is not in my plans so the biggest I'll probably ever go is a FZR400 or at least something modern with ABS.
TW200s look hilarious. A real ranch bike that you could ride actually anywhere. If you forced me to ride across Africa, I'd be more inclined to do it on a short bike with huge tires that goes 8mph in first gear than a huge, tall, heavy, unfixable technobeemer.
High sides are the worst that could happen to you. Break too hard on your rear wheel as well as the front wheel. Your bike suddenly will start to go side ways. Boom you just had a high side 😮💨😮💨😮💨

1st guy low sided, couldn't make the 'push left turn left' well after the curve? 2nd guy IDK. Bumped the other rider & panicked, hard on the F brake? It is not on the CURVE!! They're both going straight - parallel with the road, something VERY hard to do on a curve when the tires aren't on the pavement.
When the camera rider came back around to the bike that was on the ground, I thought that doesn't look like a Yamaha, and it probably isn't totaled....
Not really thinking so. Been both my experience and my observation that noobs tend to know they're noobs and gear up accordingly. The truly "insane" level riders also rend to run full tracksuits or leathers. I see the experienced, confident, casual riders that have been riding for decades tend to be more casual about riding gear. "I've been riding for years, never had a problem, besides, I don't ride all that fast anymore..." kind of thinking. But hey, maybe that's just me.

The second crash happened because the driver was distracted by the crashed bike. He drove where he looked, made a wide corner and while trying to correct it last second fully turned and that is why his bike flew.

That kid is lucky that second bike did not hit him. Regardless, all these hooligans should be on the track if they are going to ride like this. It is much safer and is a controlled environment away from traffic going in the opposite direction, etc.
