I became so happy when he finally mentioned that one of the women was Nusayba bint Ka'b because that is who I am named after. Alhamdulillah, may Allah bless the women of our Ummah and keep them on the straight path ❤

I’m currently watching this serah for the second time. I remember the first time I watched it I’d look forward to being stuck in traffic to and from work because it meant I had extra time to get through episodes
Now that I am watching it again years later I’m taking so much more from it on a spiritual and intellectual
May Allah bless you Sheikh, may Allah protect you and all of our scholars who do such amazing work
Ameen
I’m back watching after 6 years and I wish I had come back sooner.
I thought I would never be able to complete the series as it is huge and you become overwhelmed but Alhamdulillah, consistency is the key. I started it in January 2024 and alhamdulillah today on 30th January, I will complete 27th episode, Insha Allah.
Every person out there should start it, it's the most comprehensive Seerah series we have till date❤❤❤
May Allah reward Sheikh Yasir Qadhi for this initiative ❤🩹
Alhumduillah!!!
we have great teacher like The beloved Shk in these days...Mashallah!!! to Guide us ...Alhumduilla!!!

This is the best series for surah of prophet Muhammed(SWT) . 100+ hours and so detailed and well explained.
Subhanallah.

I love that these are posted on UA-cam for everyone to benefit from. Jazakallah.
Just a few things as a former history student. By the time of the prophet, the Roman Empire was gone but the Byzantine Empire (the Eastern portion of the Roman Empire) survived. They called themselves Romans but the scholars argue about this because they were more Greek than Latin. The Byzantine Empire had lost control of Rome long ago. Their capital is Constantinople.
Love Allah SWT and Prophet Muhammad SAW ❤
May Allah Accept your works, and make it a means of acceptance and Guidance for the Ummah!

Second time watching. What an episode of the seerah. Salaat wa salaam ala Sayiddina wa Habibinah Muhammad RasulAllah. May Allah reward you Sheikh. Ameen.
I thought I knew the Seerah well but here I am, learning what a Negas (نجشی) is. Jazakallah YQ
Mistake at 8:15, Sheeth(as) was not son of Nuh(as) rather of Adam(as).
Yeah

Salam Sheikh and everyone, it is not enough to thank Allah for everything and may Allah reward Sheikh for being the cause of this good deed of telling the seerah and reward all audiences with the best of their intentions. Just want to add: we can learn from seerah that giving up alcohol "must" happen in stages otherwise it will cause severe withdrawal symptoms (which can be life-threatening) unless the person is not a too frequent drinker. Allah knows best and He is The Merciful and He knows what He has created. JazakumAllah kheir, salam.
Its sad he's talking about France in this video that was made years ago, and it has only gotten worse for the Muslims in France...

I'm I right in saying umm salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) want through a type of depression, but she's human and this didn't lead her to doing anything prohibited so she's not sinful.
Any thoughts
Being depressed doesn’t make you sinful or bad
Only if you're a parent and may Allah protect you from this but if you were to lose a young child you would understand her pain. I'm not a mother yet but I can feel her pain.
MashAllah

A doubt sir....in this episode prophet (pbuh) still in makkah..and u said shuhaib arrumi story ofbemigration and when he reach in yathrib prophet saw him...and said him ur transaction is sucessfull ..how it can be happen while prophet is still in makkah
Had the same doubt
Suhaib ar rumi, migrated after prophet Mohammad PBUH had migrated already to Madina. At the time of Prophet Mohammad PBUH 's migration suhaib ar rumi was still in makkah and was caught up by quraish so he couldn't migrate along with Prophet PBUH and Abu Bakr RA.
I think he migrated before prophet Muhammad migrated & later after the hijra prophet Muhammad met with sohaib & you know the rest i believe prophet Muhammad was 1 of the last to migrate I know ali migrated after him that's what I understood from this lecture
I believe Sheeth (AS) was the son of Adam (AS) not Nuh
(ﷺ)
Did Al-Walid Ibn-Walid save Omar's (RA) camel also or no?
Yes he did it was only one example
wow
At the time of Suhaib Rumi's hijra, Nabi kareem was not in Makkah but in Madina... jazakAllahu khaira
not willing convert perhaps mean that pagans of that time used to worship war God's such as hubal. So their stubbornness was closely tied with their God's power in battlefield or just in any battle putting simply. Perhaps these was one of the main reasons for their unwillingness. Which had to be resolved in battlefield. i just am making a semi-educated guess for any one who is at doubt.
Why were the muhajirun preferred over the ansar? I'm really curious
I think it's because they made the hijra for the sake of Allah. They left their land, wealth, and everyone they knew for the sake of Allah.. Remember they also went through alot of hardship and persecution while at Makkah. As for the Ansari they didn't leave their land, didn't get persecuted as the muhajiruns.
Sir can you please make a Video regarding home mortgages
❣️
isnt sheet the son of adam ra ...
+Tasneem Toorab yeah that's what i know too. the shaykh probably made a mistake between adam as. and nuh as.
AsSalamuWalaikum
1. Abu Salama ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-ʾAsad al-Makhzūmīy
Then how he becomes a Non Quraishi?
Jazakumullahu khairan
Aslamualikum Allah swt haves slots of Ajer to our lovely dr as a Muslem ummah which most of us have no information about our lovely dean know about our lovely book and headees and seerah of our beloved Rasool saw to know the real way of live rahim
Can i just say the story of umm salama confused me.
So here's my two cents on clarifying the matter:
1. Umm salama and abu salama's tribes are both Arabs but abu salama's tribe is close to makkah but *not* a qureshi. And Abu salama's tribe is not from yathrib. Nor does the tribe follow him on his hijrah.
2. Abu salama leaves for hijrah. Umm salama gets torn away with a huge struggle from her husband by her own tribe banu makhzum.
3. Then Abu salama's tribe hears about the embarrassment of how abu salama was treated and as a matter of humiliating the banu makhzum tribe back, they come and wrestle the baby off the banu makhzum and the mother's arms.
So it's a three way split. Baby gone with abu salama's tribe... mother kept behind with banu makhzum in makkah and now abu salama in yathrib
4. A year or so of umm salama crying for her baby and her husband goes by. Someone from her tribe witnesses her deteriorating condition and sternly tells off banu makhzum.
So they eventually say go... U are free.
5. Abu salmas tribe also somehow manage to hand her baby over to her around the same time (Rmemeber she ain't seen her baby for a year or so. There's no form of communication except visiting their villages etc. Note most of them couldnt read or write.) So that in it self would have been a mission.
Now here's the other confusing part.
If uthman ibn talha was on his way back from the expedition in tanim, he would have had his own ride and sustenance with him (so it doesnt make sense he walked it back after helping umm salama.)
So basically he would have been on his own camel with his own food and water supply and he would have been aiding her along. Also he would have carried a tent with him if he was in an expedition, and she too would have bought her own tent along with her (tie the camel then put ur trust in Allah)
So uthman ibn talha wouldnt have starved for 16 days journey back and neither would he have been on foot. That's a bit of a relief to know lol.
Also the woman who married the prophet SAW from abissiniya under the negus wasn't umm salama. That was zainab (not the cousin). Her husband used to be a hanif and then converted Christianity then to Islam but upon reaching abisinya turned back to Christianity. He became a murtad and zainab was immediately divorced from him.
Zainab was then offered a proposal from medina to to abissiniya and the negus gave a mahr on the prophet's behalf (not that the prophet asked or anything) so that marraige would have remained unconsummated until atleast 4/5 years in when the battle of khandaq took place and they all returned from abissiniya to medina.
@@hippopotomonstrosesquipped8362 it wasnt zainab it was umm e habiba
@@FarhanAhmed-kg5bo It was Ramla bint Abu Sufyan R.A also known as Umm Habeeba
❤❤❤
People of thaqif and hunayn were last to convert. The ansaar felt a little bit. the extra amount was given to the new group. He called a meeting just for the ansaar. The muhajireen are preferef over the ansaar. They are mentioned first in the quran and then ansaar. And he reminds the ansaar that he left his people for them. Oh ansaar are u not happy that these people go back with sheep and dinhar and you go back with the prophet.
how was Abu salamah not a Qurashi ?, was he not the cousin of the prophet s.a.w ? His mother was the daughter of AbdulMuttalib if I remember correctly
He was from Banu Makhzoom, that makes him a Quraishi, he is also wet brother of Prophet PBUH.
I hear that sheath as is Adam son. Adam name sheath meaning gift. How can sheeth be nuh son?

Where did the camels go when they (PBUH & RA) were hiding in the cave?
I believe they didn't have camels.
Rahamathulla Khazi he walked
Is Umar R.a not a rightly guided Khalif? What about Uthman R a? They sre both rightly guided . Neither can make Bid'ah. Period its wierd anyone whose studied this religion could think someone who Prophet Muhammadﷺ himself said has learned this deen from the angel Jibril A.s with his own eyes and ears could make a Bid'ah . Unfathomable

Im so happy to complete 26 lectures.
Shaith or Sheeth (Seth in Judeo-Christian books) is the son of Adam and a prophet who dealt with Qabil and his people.
Good catch, that threw me off too @ 8:15 when he said he was son of Nuh.
Same. Wasn’t Sheeth (A.S) a gift for Adam (A.S) In replace for Habil?
Yes, son of Adam, PBUH. Brother Yasir had misspoke.
Seerah discussed by you are detail I ever listen before. Thangs for this.
Alhamdoulilah, watching in 2024. ❤MashaAllah
Mashallah .... May Allah bless your for all your efforts
What a great lecture!
However, Prophet Sheeth/Seth alayhissalam was not the son of Nuh alayhissalam, but the son of Adam alayhissalam.
Correction: Sheeth A.S. was the son of Adam A.S. not Nuh A.S.

Is it not permissible to lie to save lives or a greater evil?
Yeah lying when you can save someone's life should be common sense. If anything this lie is for the greater good and you just saved a human which is equivalent to saving all of humanity.
i hope someone can explain more about the zakat for mualaf situation given to that quraish leader
