It worked, but they should have mixed it up with more proper crosses to giroud.. Giroud was at the center of some of Arsenal’s best team goals in the Wenger era because of his link up play and delicate touch for a big man. He also scored some bangers including that scorpion kick in off the bar which again was great team build up before. I think the fans of today would appreciate him more as the toxic atmosphere at Arsenal has gone now. Respect to Giroud.
