1 having ai texture your prop is quite redundant because the purpose of texturing is being able to move the prop around while you're working on the scene, not just having it in place, if it only works from that perspective then you might as well go with the full ai picture 2 in the upscale version, did the billboard change? Its sharper but not definitely not accurate 3 all this website is using is stable diffusion, which is free to download, why would I need an external website or service to do what I could do by myself? Granted there's some technical difficulties to overcome for most people, but with add-ons already integrating blender to your local machine this seems pointless, I thought "supercharging" blender would mean just that, actually having the ai work inside blender and how to set it up for most people
Hi Manuel! Thanks for your comment, and watching the video! I totally agree with your points, although there's quite often no need to texture a whole object, and AI surely offers the quickest way to offer a range of material options. I think the whole point of PromeAI is to make AI image generation more accessible, and offer an easy way to get great results without needing to get into the technical weeds. Plus, they're giving away 200 generations to try it out - which I think is more than fair. There are a few Blender extensions that work inside blender to generate materials and objects too, but the principle is the same. If you have any suggestions for future videos, let me know! Thanks again! Leo
