at 6:36 the small pocket...I believe there is a even smaller slot for an apple airtag. I've seen it in other reviews, so thought it would be worth mentioning to anyone here.
I agree on the comfort comment. My Able Carry Max is more comfortable…but have to remember I am carrying more in the Pakt. Travelling with the 35L for the first time…also with a packable bag in the expansion pocket as well.
The one flaw I see with this pack is the laptop sleeve. It seems like it would limit the packing capacity. It's like having a hard lid over in the middle of the pack. I would probably cut it out and stow my laptop where the daypack compartment which would make more sense. This would allow more space in the main compartment.
Thanks for this Desy. Given their daily bag is super-small and way overpriced at $185 USD, I would probably skip it and put my Aer Go 2 into the front expando pocket.
Somewhat agree with you. However, it does fit a sweet spot for me. On a recent vacation trip I had both the Aer Go2 and Aer’s 3.5L Sling. The Sling was too small at times…and the Go2 I tended to carry with one strap, as you would a sling. So having something in between is great. On the other hand, I know there are some trips (for business) where I may be more inclined to bring the Go2 with me.
Great Video Desy! Thank you - I REALLY like the 35L - but also LOVE the idea of the 15L -I LOVE the idea of having the Everyday w/ EDC items and then dropping the bag into the 35L when you need more space. Question - If you have the 35L - would you go with the 15L Everday or would you go with the AER GO Packable. I am looking for a minimalist design that is more modular and when needed (like going to our Kids Swim Meet - dropping the Everyday (without unpacking it) into the Larger Bag? THANKS I appreciate your videos and opinions.
Fellow Vancouverite! I'm actually now torn between this setup (15L + 35L), or some of Aer's offerings because they have X-Pac, which is a material I've come to love. Probably won't be traveling until the end of the year/beginning of 2025 so I have some time to think, but the versatility of Pakt's system is so good. I hope V3 comes with X-Pac haha
i normally dont travel with such large backpacks, so i personally would go with the 35L. No the 35L didn't fit under neath my seat. I only put the small pack under there!
Depends on how much you carry, but probably the 45L if its going to be 2 weeks! if you are not in a rush, stay tuned, i got a few more travel backpack reviews coming out!
I was drawn to this the travel pack for the less attention grabbing (thus less prone to theft or robbery) design, color choices and durable materials used. The clamshell dividers are uniquely practical for a more wrinkle free travel. I like the zip out expansion pack that can also fit the 15 liter day pack while transiting but one has also the option of using it as part of the under seat stowage in a larger commercial plane too. I am guess 45 +10 =55 liters in total would not be accepted at carry-on by most airlines. The 15 liter day pack with that is amazing flexibility both sliding into the expansion pouch or under the seat carry-on is perfectly thought out. The 35 & 45l v2 travel back pack is out of stock and overprice for non US residence. It does not include the 15l day back which is another overpriced $185USD. The daisy chain loops don’t have much of a functional use. The hip strap does no longer double as a fanny pack as like in version 1. I would to compression packing cubes instead of the PakT branded ones regardless of the loops. The clip-on pouches are very expensive for they lack luster utility. There are more functional and cheaper one out there that make more sense. The front 2 pouches can’t be combined into an one cable locking system like Peak Designs 45 liter. The aluminum back stays have been replaced with a cheaper plastic set. The water bottle pouch is not long enough to be used alternatively, as a tripod or monopole & stand pouch.
Just got mine and it was pricey😮😮😮but I will sell my other bags that I have cos this one looks great. Also I had to pay a huge tax on it ontop of the cost😮😮 maybe becouse I live in Europe ( Norway) 🤔🤔🤔

yeah im not a fan of the laptop area too!

I agree, I much prefer the Aer Go 2 as a lightweight backpack to travel with!

i do love xpac! whats ur email? ill send u a msg and u can come check this out in person!
Would you personally purchase the 45L over the 35L? Will a 45L fit under the seat on a flight? Great video!

Great review!!!!
thank u!
Thank you for this review. Would you personally use a DSLR Camera on this setup? To pack it and travel with it?
you could totally pack a camera setup within this, but its not as ideal as if you used an actual camera bag!
Thank you for your clear review! What size (35L or 45L) do you recommend for a two-week city trip?
Depends on how much you carry, but probably the 45L if its going to be 2 weeks!
if you are not in a rush, stay tuned, i got a few more travel backpack reviews coming out!
How heavy is the overall weight of the 35L version, I wonder?
probably should state if this a 35L or 45L in the title so theres no confusion.
ah sorry yeah this is the 35L!
So is the point the full 35L version does not fit under the plane set and so the 15L "everyday" bag is needed?
yup!
Good Day,
Does the 22L every day bag, fit into the 35L or 45L travel backpack?
no i dont think so!
Does the everyday backpack come with the travel backpack?
No. You have to order separately.
pakt 45 vs topo 40 which one? mostly biz travel
unfortunately i havent tried the topo so i cant say!

Thanks for ur input! The most affordable and best value travel backpack is the TomToc 40L! Check that one out!
Still haven't come across something that can top Samsonite Bleisure 17.3" 34/39L
seems like a great travel bag!
@@DesmondCheng gr8 review btw! keep up the gr8 work.
Thanks!@@tipxtv
