  • This is a little variation of my video creating unique shapes with circle shape cutters and a tissue blade. By simply extending this process and using a pasta machine you can create luscious, slumped oval polymer clay components. These shapes can be used for pendants, earrings, brooches...the list is endless.

Thanks Wendy, me too! Plus I like to create unique shapes as well and you can do some pretty awesome stuff with what you have on hand - just using it in a different way x

Are you still using Kato and Premo mixed? I never thought of those two mixed. I mixed Fimo and Premo but not a great idea as Fimo needs a lower temp. Love seeing your videos again!

Hi JC, I'm pretty sure this is either solid premo or solid kato, not a mix of the two. Sometimes foils like a "stickier" clay to adhere to so I'm thinking I would have used Premo. I've been working with a mix of clay at the moment to create the pod beads because I find the shape holds much better when it's being manipulated. Sometimes Premo can get very soft and I don't have the patience to put it in the fridge to firm it up! Hope that helps. ♥ and huge thanks, so glad you're enjoying the videos x
