Thanks so much, Tessa 🥲
What a lovely comment and I totally agree 👍 👏 😊
Thank you so much Sam for sharing this . I travel by train quite alot in the UK & navigate many train changes and platforms but was feeling quite anxious about this change at Lille once the direct Eurostar ends in June. So I can't thank you enough for calming my worries with showing how there;s nothing to fear! Thrilled to see you back in DLP & sending you & your mum more (healing/recovery ) love.... x
So glad we have you back on UA-cam Sam! Hope your mum is feeling better. Sure there is a lot on your mind right now and a little break from that will hopefully help with your »recovery« from what hapened. Please don‘t forget to look after yourself ;) We will visiting Disneyland Paris in March for the first time and looking forward for more helpfull videos. Grüße aus Berlin
What a wonderful treat to see your new vlog. It’s great to see you smiling and visiting your beloved Disneyland Paris. I’ve been deep diving into your archive as I’m going with my friend next week for a couple of nights. It’s great to see what Disneyland Paris is like during the different seasons. Looking forward to your forthcoming vlogs.
Thanks so much :) Hope you have a lovely tine next week x
Hi Sam, I really enjoyed your train journey from London St. Pancras to Marne La Vallee - Chessy. As usual, your information is accurate. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with all of us. But the best thing about the video was hearing you smile when you got off the train. I really felt your happiness! You deserve it all. I hope that from now on, this new year will be peaceful and full of beautiful things. And may your mom make a full recovery. I hug you very much and I hope to meet you soon at DLP ❤
This was extremely helpful! We are booked for DLP but not transport, and this was the route we were planning so thank you! I’m also going to watch your other video through Paris as that may be a good option! ❤
It’s so amazing your getting out and about and back to disney again ❤❤❤ much love to you and take it easy! Can’t wait for the content coming x
Ahh thanks Debbie :)
Thank you for doing this video. I’m going to Disneyland in a few months and it’s my first time going Via Lille. Wasn’t feeling to confident about it, but this video has really helped.
Thank you again 😊
I’m traveling with my girlfriend later in the year as i got her tickets for her 18th bday. I’m really stressing about the Eurostar and keep rewatching your vids and you do an incredible job of explaining everything and you’ve calmed me down quite a bit. Thank you and keep up the good work
So glad to see you back on here Sam, know these past few weeks have been difficult for you.. hope your mum is feeling loads better, thanks for uploading this vid, did go to DLP in Sept 22 via Eurostar then xx 😘👌🏾🚄🇨🇵
So glad to see you back! Can't wait to watch all ur upcoming vlogs. We always have to fly to DLP.
Thanks Colleen! 🥲
This is so useful thank you so much Sam! This is how I’ll be travelling in January and I was so worried about the swap over. So again thank you! 💖
Your channel continues to be a literal lifesaver. Me and my fiancé watch your videos every night to relax. You are such a wonderful and bright and comforting person. Thank you!!!
Aw what a lovely comment - thank you so much! Glad you both enjoy them :)
@@Sam4G0d thank you!!! I mean every word. Seeing the heart and reply I got so happy lol. We have our first DLP trip since childhood coming up for fiancés 30th in December and we’re so excited to watch Sam every night and plan everything. :)
This is so helpful, thank you ! It’s put my mind at ease a little ! ❤
I'm glad x
This was brilliant on your part to make this video. It’s going to help so many people.
Thanks Jessica 😀
Wonderful to see you smiling and happy 😊
Thank you 😁
So happy to see you back in the parks & hear your mum is improving! 🏰✨ also for the TGV for the train number if you don’t have an assigned seat make sure your carriage has the right number on it too, as a inOui employee told me sometimes the train can split in two as it’s going so you want to be going the right way 😆🚝
Lovely kinder muffin ;). A whole new world. Happy for your venture and trip.
Thank you for sharing lovely place enjoy.x❤️
When I book my holiday in October thought I would have to sort the train out myself but Disney did it all for me gave me all the info for the change over so handy they do that for you x
First time I've seen you, and *GIRL!!!* .......I thought I talked a lot! 😂
Whew I was nearly out of breath listening to you. That is an art form. What a seriously workaholic brain you have, it didn't skip a beat. Even when you veered off into a different topic, you didn't lose your train of thought. Just seamlessly transitioned back to what you were saying.
You were born to be on camera, a complete natural. You'd be literally perfect for live TV shows, because you just breeze on through any interruptions or whatever. I'm surprised you're not already reading the News, or doing investigative journalism shows. Effortless. Im seriously impressed.
This is an older video, so I hope your Mum has since recovered well. You sounded so excited to have a few days away. I must say that train station is super handy to get to Disneyland, I never imagined it would be THAT close. I must watch your video enjoying Disneyland itself, and also see if you have any footage shot in the Channel Tunnel itself, because I'm curious about that experience.
I'm gonna subscribe! 😁
Excellent video! Very informative! Thank you very much!
That was so helpful, thank you so much. I was having a mini breakdown about my journey as it’s been a while since my last holiday. Panic over, now I can’t wait.
Glad it was helpful! Hope you have a lovely trip :)
Really useful video Sam, thank you so much! Will certainly be using this when I go to DLP in October 💙 xxx
Woop! X
We've just booked to go to Disney on EuroStar via Lille, and this video is very e helpful so thank you very much for posting this!!
Glad it’s helped ☺️ hope you have an amazing time!
Once again such a helpful video Sam! 💗I did just want to see if anyone else has had this experience though… I actually don’t mind stopping at Lille, it is easy and the stations are easy to navigate and nice, plenty of places to eat and stuff as you’ve shown. However, for me, it’s how they deal with things when they go wrong. My husband and I were coming back from DLP, waiting at Marne la valee for the train to Lille and it was delayed. It then became apparent we would also miss our connection in Lille back to London. Everyone was in the same boat and panicking. Eurostar we’re so unhelpful. They sent us all to get the tube to Paris and it was so busy and chaotic because everyone was panicking. We eventually got to Paris and they had no idea what we were talking about. They had no available to seats to put it on. It was awful. I don’t know if they’ve got a better system in place now over the last few years but honestly… it’s traumatised me for life 😂😂 xx
Thank you for this as I was feeling nervous about the platform change
I’ve missed your parks videos!!
Great video that's the route we are taken the end of October to dlp so much info you give on you videos thanks
Thanks Dave 🙂
Happy to see U back on the Road and heading to DLP , hope your Mom is Fine
Thank you Patrick 🤗
Hi Sam, Just wondering if you ever made a video of the travel back from Disney to London via Lille?
I was searching for it but cant seem to find one. This was such a helpful video, thank you for going into so much detail! ☺️
This will be me in June for my first visit to DLP, cannot wait 😊
🎉🎉🎉
Hi Sam.... I have been so busy w work lately that I haven't gotten completely caught up but I love your hard work and again thank you.... I feel like I'm right there... be well !
Ahh thanks so much! ☺️
Literally did this trip last month was abit nervous doing it but it turned out fine and I’m also back in the parks tomorrow evening till Saturday can’t wait !!!
Have fun! 🎉
My partner has just booked for us to go to DLP in October with the change over at Lille, this video has eased our nerves abit thank you.
This is something I do have to make a comment on this video.
Your video it’s AMAZING all what I needed for my trip tomorrow .
THANK YOU 😀
Aw I’m so glad! Have a lovely trip! 😁
@@Sam4G0d thank you 🙏 I have Q what is a limit on liquid like shampoo and creams perfumes as I travel with a quiet a lot of staff for my sister Baby . Do you know if there is a restrictions.? Thank you
Glad that you feel that life is letting you go back on your travels. Hopefully you can look forward to a more "normal" 2023 (psst the description on the vid is showing wrong for me- says it's the Lyveum theatre one! :)
God it seems really easy, I will be happy giving this a try, I felt a bit daunted at first. Thank you!!,
Most welcome :)
Yeah you’re on the way back to DLP!! 🎉 Hope your mum is better and you enjoyed your trip 😊 we always fly as we’re in North Wales so not trains any where close for us unfortunately x
Thank you, Rhi :)
Kool videos want to do this soon
très chic 👍👍👍
Great vlog! Lovely to see your smile when you arrived. I live in North UK, so my usual transport is Air France from Leeds airport. But it isn't my favourite. Eurostar is my favourite and usually we add in a London stopover and a west end show. But if we go direct for a quick Disney Paris weekend, from the North, we have to fly or it's impossible. The train connections from Northern trains to Eurostar are not great and you lose too much Disney time. I guess from June, we will only be able to fly, as indirect trains to Marne La vallee will take even more time 😔 So probably no more Eurostar for us 😔
I'm so excited for my trip to disneyland Paris Sam.
Woop! 🎉
Thank you for this. I am taking the direct train from london to disneyland in april since it is going away. I want to do it at least once
Nice one Sam4G0d. 😎
Enjoy your trip!!😀
Thanks!
Iam flying to Disney land Paris in May going to be staying in the new marvel Hotel can't wait
Have fun!
Hi Sam! Love your videos. Can you do a tour of fantasyland & Victorias please☺ and I would love to see all of your Minnie ears😍
This video is extremely helpful! We are going to Disney in March 27th-1st and again in Halloween and we figured out that the Eurostar is bout going direct anymore 2 days ago we always go to st pancreas and straight to Disney so we were wondering what it would be like tysm ❤
You're most welcome! Have fun :)
It's like you read my mind, me and friends are going in November and thinking about booking travel has been stressss
Hope you have a great time x
Love your videos! They just make me happy 😊 I’m going to Disneyland Paris in April but do I need to do a Covid test or take vaccination proof? Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you so much it was so informative! what app did you use to purchase the london to lille and lille to marne-la-vallee? Many thanks!
Weaaaayyyyyy Hi Sam
I'm travelling to Disney next week and this will be the first time I will have to change at Lille Europe as I've always gotten the direct train before.
Your video has been timed perfectly as I like to prepare the route ahead of time 😊
Ahh yey! Have an amazing time :)
Did you ever post a video about the travel back to London via Lille? Thank you!!
This seems so easy now I’ve seen this video! Thank you so much, I do have one question tho, is there places to store suitcases on each train as me and my fiancé will be travelling in November with 2 suitcases. Thank you
Hi Sam thank you for this video I was all ready after your lovely detailed video. I have watched some other recent train changes from different startion which has confused me. Please can you give us some updates would be appreciated 🙏
Thank you so much for this amazing video, I just had one question during the trip from London to Lille Europe didn’t they pass through to check your traveling documents suck as ID card or Passport ?
Very helpful thank you! Subbed.
p.s. You talk as fast as a Eurostar train. lol.
Haha thank you! Appreciate it :)
Do you know much about the Disney Express service with the changeover? I booked for November and was very suprised that we drop luggage off with them at St Pancras and they handle the transfers. Bit nervous though!
Hello, thank you for your videos, helped me a lot. Where can I buy my train tickets online? It is easy to go from London to Paris or to Lyle?
Hi! How much is it to travel from london to DLP via Lille? And what’s the best way to book this? Thank you for all your help
We are also dropping off our luggage when we arrive by train and getting our tickets. Is that service inside the building or outside of it? (It would be the RER, though, from Paris)
Hi Sam, on the return journey back to London is the 30mins between trains enough time to go through security? most Eurostars lille to London seem to have a quick change over?
I like this route and find it easy, just such a shame they are stopping the direct train! 😔😔
Would you recommend travelling by TGV Train to Disney from Lille as the best option for wheelchair users who can’t get out their wheelchair?
Hi Sam I know you dont often travel by plane but is the reason the prices have doubled for the TGV from CDG marne le valle anything to do with the Eurostar changes?
Great video! Thank you. We also have the indirect coming home any chance of some information on how to do that please? Worrying as our train from Disney arrives at Lille Europe at 1657 then our Eurostar back to st Pancras is at 1835! I feel like we aren’t going to make the Eurostar on time!!
I'm in the same boat and would really like more info on the way back via Lille. Do we have to do passport control there?
ive this problem too when im coming home, did it go alright for you?
Very helpful video as it will be my first time travelling via the Eurostar to Disney. Just a quick question, can we take luggage into Disney Village? Thank you.
Yes, you can since there are airport-style x-ray machines at the entrance. You can also leave your luggage in a locker in the station. Cash only, but there are change machines. There are different sizes of lockers and different prices. The smallest one, the size of a carry on, is €5.50.
Hi sam have you do the train the other way from disneyland paris back to london but changing at lille as I do it next month and would love to know where we have to do the tax refund so we get it back.
Is this the way when Dlp first opened that the train trip went? Didn’t they change to a direct train later? Now it looks like they’ve gone back to the stop/connection route.
What a bummer Sam. I,m afraid it puts me off going by train anymore. Having to wait around an hour between trains is for me a real pain.
Is the video from Disneyland to London via Lille Europe also uploaded on the channel? Couldn’t find it
Hi Sam! My family (including a two year old and an 8 month old) are planning on taking the Eurostar from London to Lille Europe and then connecting on to DLP. It looks like the connection time is 37 minutes at Lille Europe. Is that cutting it too close? We'll have luggage and our two kids, but we don't need to stop and have a meal or anything.
How easy is the return journey? Is there passport control?
Hi Sam I’m going to Disneyland using Eurostar in November.
Transferring at Lille .
Are all the transfers to Disneyland within that station ?
Some other videos I’ve seen appear to leave the station and go to another lille station.
There is only one other station in Lille, Lille Flandres, which is right next to Lille Europe, on the other side of the Westfield Mall. Depending on which TGV you have to Marne-la-Vallée, you may have to walk out of Lille Europe to get to Lille Flandres, but there are signs to direct you. You can also take the metro one stop to get there. The entrance to the metro is right inside Lille Europe.
We had our suitcase stolen in Lille, the thief got on the train and took our case without us noticing. We've been extra careful ever since. We also try and avoid Lille.
Very informative, thank you! Could you maybe tell us what kind of tripod you use? I know Selfie Sticks are not allowed at DLP, so I was wondering how you film your videos and which type of tripods are allowed. Thx. 🤗
Thanks you! I use a small camera holder tripod that doesn’t extend. That’s the key. Anything that extends, such as selfie sticks, is banned as they can be dangerous. Little tripods that just help you hold your camera better are absolutely ok 🙂 When I was in Disneyland California, they did manual bag checks and a cast member actually asked me if my tripod extends, and once he saw that it didn’t, he said it’s absolutely fine. The one I normally use is the official Sony ZV1 one x
@@Sam4G0d Wow, thanks for the fast and detailed reply. I'll be going for the first time in May. Your channel is so very helpful in figuring stuff out. Thank you so much!
Hi Sam, do you know why they're stopping the direct train? I did the Lille Europe change over when I went to Disney 11 years ago and remember that it was quite a big stress as our train left Disneyland late so we literally ran to get our connection and only just made it 😅 seems like it's a lot better signposted now with the boards etc, a lot of the French railway staff didn't speak English 🤣
Hi!! Im about to book this journey. So when I land in Lille I dont have to buy a ticket from Lille to DLP? Or I do?
What size luggage can u take
Hey i just read eurostar will stop from June 10. Is it still worth it to get a disney pass without the eurostar? What are you going to do?
Of course :) I rarely used the direct route anyway x
Such a personable individual and fab presenter. A TV channel should snap you up or put yourself forward xx
Ahh thank you ☺️
Why are they stopping the direct trains from London to Disneyland Paris
Which is easier way paris or Lille on Eurostar?
This route London-Lille-Disneyland (Massy) is a better choice than London-Paris (Gare du Nord)+ RER A, you have just to wait and change at Lille no more exits and entrances.
Yeah, much easier - but unfortunately often more expensive x
@@Sam4G0d Yes but it is an one price to the arrival no more ticket to buy, no need to walk, to carry your luggage often more relaxing. It is worthy.
How about you go for an oppo phones
Hello. I want to ask you . If I want to go to London From Lille France. But I live in Germany and I have German ID. So did they allowed me to travel or . They ask me passport
You have to show your passport and go through the formalities at Lille. When you get to London St Pancras you simply get off the train and you're ready to explore London or catch another train
What will happen in June once we have to go through border security at Lille
What do you mean? Nothing should be changing?
@@Sam4G0d You have to go through passport control but this will change to Lille?
@@philippabrace7859 If you do the Lille route, passport control has always been at Lille on the way back to London :)
