This is the first time I’ve actually seen anyone get the outcome I want. Bc girls night is more of a pinkish tone than a true lavender purple nice to know that adding some but not too much periwinkle brings it out to that color. Thank you! It looks gorgeous.

Wowwweee. I just purchased the girls night. I have jet black hair but I've lightened the front over a period of time so I can have a colour block. I'm shocked I've got it platinum. I’m looking to create this same color, however I’ve never dyed my own hair. How would I mix this for short male hair? I also really don’t know anything about mixing colors. I’m at a level 10 will this color still pop like it did for you?
Hello Trenton! Thank you for the question. A similar shade would look amazing on you! This color should work on a level 10! Level 10 is a pale yellow like the inside of a banana. Just a reminder level 10 is a light blonde. Everyone’s hair is different and takes different. Mixing this is very easy. No developer is mixed with Arctic fox haircolor. You can use it straight out of the bottle. You can mix two or more of their colors together even just by using a tint brush (color brush) into a haircolor bowl. For this mixture I did a 4:1 ratio of color girls night to color periwinkle. If you’re afraid of it not being enough vibrancy on top of your existing color, I would put a drop of arctic fox haircolor “purple rain.” It’s super dark so about a drop is all you need if you use that. The color can be swatched on a paper towel to make sure you like the color! But paper towels are white, so keep in mind that it’ll mix with whatever haircolor that’s on your head that may not be exactly white. Apply it thick and leave it on extra long as you can. About an hour or two before rinsing/washing in cool water. Some people leave on about 2 hours because it’s quite conditioning and isn’t too harmful for the hair. Pre-lightening is the part that’s more harmful to the hair. I hope this helps! Arctic Fox Haircolor is a semi-permanent haircolor. Example: 4 cups of girls night out to 1 cup of periwinkle, mixed. Whatever the amount you need, the GNO should be 4 times the amount of the periwinkle.

Hello Peachzz! Thank you for your question. I love both the periwinkle and aquamarine mixed in. I don’t think I could choose which one is best 🙈💜💙. Aquamarine is definitely a lot darker than periwinkle so less is needed of aquamarine for sure. If you feel like sharing, I would love to a pic of you in the purple! You can find me on Instagram 😃. Peachzz I think both stay pretty well as long as you wash your hair less often (really hard for me to do) lol, with cool or luke warm water, & sulfate free shampoo & conditioner. I want to say I think the diluted aquamarine and purple rain lasted slightly longer because I did it ever so slightly darker so I was able to wash it until it was a pastel color that I liked 💙💜

Hello Leslie! Thank you for your question. I used 2 whole bottles of girls night from Arctic Fox Hair Color and less than 1 of periwinkle from Arctic Fox Hair Color on my hair. I usually purchase a lot more than that so that I can use what’s left over for touch ups! I hope this helps 💜💙 I also used about the same amount for my hair extensions (so all together with my hair and hair extensions 4 bottles of girls night, and about 1 of periwinkle.) If you have thick hair, you need a lot because it’s a very thick color line. I also probably over saturate and tend to use extra, because it’s so thick that I don’t want to miss any spots in advance. If you have more than what you need, you can always use the extra for touch ups or mix into your conditioner to keep the color vibrant after the first initial coloring process.

To stop fading, I refresh my hair color weekly if I’m trying to keep the hair color for longer. Although often I love when it fades fast, because I like to change my hair color often. How fast it fades depends on hair porosity and temperature of water, environmental elements, etc. This is semi-permanent so as it fades, it does come out slowly in the water with each wash. I would recommend to keep your orange hair color longer while still swimming in the chlorine (which can take out hair color,) is to simply refresh the color often, & wash your hair with cool water. Beautiful tone!! Omg :3 I just got both. However if I tried the periwinkle and gets blue , if I combines them both will it be more like this purple? If I want it to be more blueish, and my hair is kinda light like this .. will it be better to just use periwinkle ? I got both first thinking the girl's night would be needed to kill yellowish tones, but it worked well with only periwinkle and i've got it before purple an now I just want periwinkle tone hahah.. do you have one where you just use the periwinkle one?
Hello, thank you for your question! That’s a good question. You could always swatch the color you’ve mixed on a paper towel, keeping in mind it will mix with your existing color. You could also do a strand test in the back of your hair to see what color it would look like on your hair. It sounds like your desired shade is just the periwinkle? It’s a gorgeous shade by its self too! I haven’t used the periwinkle one by itself yet 💙

I believe I used redken shades eq 10p with equal parts redken processing solution for about 5 minutes to tone.

how long did it take for this to fade out?
adiya murrell Hello! It took my hair about 4 weeks to fade out this color. At the end I started washing it more and more with warm water to get it out. At first I was trying to get it to stay so I only washed my hair once a week. Everyone’s hair keeps in color differently due to many factors, but I hope this helps!

You’re welcome! You could try to wash it less often by using dry shampoo in between washes. This was hard for me at first too because I was used to washing my hair nearly everyday lol.
How did you mix to two colors evenly in the bowl, and still come out with 2 different shades of colors of lavender and purple when you put it on evenly. Your previous hair was all the same color so your hair should have all colored the same. What step,did we not see? Thank you.
I’m sorry. I don’t understand the question. Can you rephrase that? Are you saying that my color looks like different tones of purple at the end? It’s very shiny color, and can take on the light in that way.

DansingnSpirit the lighting 💜. And some of my hair is more porous than others, which takes darker at first (sucks the color right up), then fades faster. I like to refresh my hair every couple of weeks or so when I have colored hair like this.
