I remember this!!! I am 59 now and my aunt and uncle lived in Ocean City at the time..My Uncle Richard said they had a foot of sand inside their house on Asbury Ave. I also recall seeing washing machines and other appliances laying out in the wetlands. Scary sights when you are a little kid!!
