Motian is unbelievably one of the under-recognized greats. He's still one of my very favorites. From Evans to Jarrett to his own (over 30) great albums. His musical evolution was oh so seamless and a wonder to behold. It must've been great to hear such a concert in that setting. I saw a few at the MoMa outdoor garden in the early to mid-noughts, but nothing as cool as this. Thanks, as always, for the upload!
