The reason he went broadside to Shikishima was that he knew it would just overpen... except he screwed up and did not stay flat enough when he drove out in front of the Shiki (he corrected this after his inital mistake). I have dont it in my Jinan before. Its situational and only works at close range, but is super useful (Note: Do not do this against the Italian BBs with their SAP)
