I can't watch dramas where bullying is center stage and the FL is depicted as a pathetic, stupid, self-abusing (masochist) woman who falls for the man who treats her like trash. The writers love to "normalize" the abuse, calling it "romantic foreplay"; playing up the mental and spirit-breaking abuse as love gestures. In reality, this is just bullshit being shoved into the psyches of mostly Asian woman, to suppress any idea of wanting or expecting any kind of fairness, equality, or respect in a relationship. When the evil sister says, "...you're a loser...", she was speaking the truth.
