ℹ️ About the Episode:
This is the first time this year that we've had a full week to just relax and enjoy a campsite. Of course, it was forced upon us due to a weather-related change of plans. But it didn't take long to adjust to the new plan. We hope you can tell how enjoyable it was to just hang out and enjoy each other's company and the fire for a few days, despite the rain. Our week-long stay also gave us the time to catch up on a couple of minor repairs and upgrades. It was time to remove our distinctive yellow tape and attach the Snap Pads. We also did some testing with our airbags as we traveled from Tennessee to Georgia. Based on previous episodes, we got lots of suggestions to remove the air to help mitigate dragging the bumper of the Airstream. Fair point! So we gave it a shot. We were curious to see if we'd even notice the difference.

I just love watching you guys enjoy this phase of your life.
We book anchors down two years in advance, to get in with a fireplace love this UA-cam channel
Congratulations on 25 years!
Come up to Glacier area, Fly fishing, rafting. Some mountain biking, zipline on Big mountain. Great food beautiful views.
I stopped watching for a while but have rekindled my love for your genuine enthusiasm about life on the road and sharing it with all of us. Thank you.
I never want this show to end!
Our trip will start in 5 days. We will fly in from Germany to Houston for a 3 weeks roadtrip in Texas. Not with an RV, but with a rental car and Motels, because we are not experienced in RVing. However, your videos reminds us always that travelling, freedom and family is the most important thing we could do and have. Enyoy your further travels and keep us inspired 👍🏻
Anchor down is on the list… looks awesome!
Add to your list….a meet up in Duluth, MN (guess I should check if you’ve already been there) but I would drive the 3 hours 🥰
If you have time, Split Rock lighthouse is pretty amazing and/or Glensheen Mansion is incredible, built in 1905-08 with craftsmanship of today and the furniture/ clothing/ dishes are all original, it’s worth a visit.
Oh and Marc, we know the air horn is for Trish, no need to remind us 😂😂😂
Safe travels !
Yes!!! Please do a meet up in Duluth! Add the alpine slide in Lutsen and a visit to Palisade Head to your list as well. Oh, and World’s Best Donuts in Grand Marais!
I feel you’d really enjoy hiking on the Superior Trail or Ely’s peak. Or hiking/camping in Jay Cooke State Park.
Love that airstream park! It’s fabulous!
PA Grand Canyon is beautiful... Once our truck gets delivered, we are going on our first camper trip. (Newbies)... you give us so many great tips and tricks...thank you
So refreshing to see what a month in the RV traveling around town to town is really like! Summer to Remember, while living your Best Life! 🤙🏼❤
Welcome to North Georgia! So glad you are here! Hope you enjoy yourselves and the warm weather! Safe travels!
Great video. Appreciated the thoughts on the air bags. It would be interesting to see you try out an air hitch like the Shocker or the Air Safe hitches. Reportedly, they make the bumps even less noticeable by allowing the truck and trailer to move a little more independently.
If you are going to get all the way to Chelan, don't miss Stehekin Washington. We are blessed to live here, and it's an extraordinary place.
As always so much fun watching. Glad Charlie is ok and give him a big hug for me. Stay safe out there. Love y'all
The music is so great on this video! Looks like a great campground.
One thing we are doing this summer is volunteering. We are looking for places and ways to make a difference.
Love where you all are! Welcome to Georgia. Cheers!
It's to late for this year, but I highly suggest adding The Kentucky Derby to your list next year. AWESOME!!!
I used that same tape in the home depot for displays. It is the Best tape we sold. . A tiny roll is about 8 bucks, but worth it😊.
I'd love to stay in an Airstream park. That sounds fun. Thanks for your video!
Your videos always make me smile!
Not sure what your plans are for Duluth, but heads up-There are a lot of biking opportunities in Duluth. You can even bike between Duluth and the Twin Cities all the way on bike trails!!! Very big bike culture in our great state of MN.when will you visit?
We were in Helen 2 years ago, tubing through town was a good time.
Our collie, Quinn, who is about the same age and size as Charlie, gets the whole back seat in our truck. We have a hammock type back seat dog bed. We use seat belt that hooks onto a harness on Quinn and then into the seatbelt part that people hook their seatbelt into. The hammock takes up the entire back seat, because he's a big dog and needs to be able to move around a bit. There is even a mesh window where Quinn can see what we are doing up front.
I know how much effort goes into making an epic video week after week. And after all this time you have been making these videos, to still have the ability to sprinkle all that energy and magic into your videos. Much respect.
you're not kidding - it's a full time job but they really are one of my fav couples to watch.
We use the seat extender with hard bottom (on Amazon) for our 90lb lab/husky mix. And then I just put her dog bed on top, and also use a seatbelt and attach it to her harness for added safety.
Kong makes a very rugged bench seat cover. It has some storage and can be converted to a sling.
Sometimes the plans you don’t expect are the ones you need the most! 😊
Hi guys! Not sure if you like fun facts from foreigners, but Helly Hansen AS is an international textile industry company with headquarters in Oslo Norway. The company was founded in Moss Norway in 1877 by sailor Helly Juell Hansen under the name Helly J. Hansen's Oil Clothing Factory, and was owned by the Helly-Hansen family until the 1970s, when the company was sold. The company is currently in foreign ownership. By the way, I love your channel.
Interesting. I knew it was started a long time ago. Not sure why HH catamaran would straight up copy the logo, but it's creating confusion for sure.
Good episode you do well expaining why the ideas we may have dont work, thanks for it may save us if we have the same situation , have most a blessed week!
I chose not toput airbags in my new SuperDuty for the same reason. I have no air, but I have oversized bumbers in the rear. I pull a 23 ft Puma XLE.
I've got to admit we get rv site envy even though we have stayed at amazing sites. Love that you find Anchor Down. We've stayed at Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg at amazing locations but still watch your weekly posts and think "ah..."
Hope u tried Betty’s Market while u were in Helen. We live within 40 minutes. Fun place to hang out
Wow I really enjoyed your video. You two just seem to make it so much fun to watch. Thanks you so much !
We enjoyed watching your trip to Top Of Georgia. Michelle and I really had a great time meeting you there, and we hope Charlie is still enjoying his flamingo! 🦩 😊 - Jim
Yes, great meeting you too. Charlie is LOVING his Flamingo. You'll be seeing a lot of that toy in the coming episodes. See you again down the road.
@@KeepYourDaydream Good to hear, safe travels!
Helen, GA is on our list! Gonna happen one day soon.
Nice to see you kicking back a bit!
Good Sunday evening to everyone 🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍
Just love watching your videos 💘! Usually end up watching it twice and I can't wait for the next one
My most enjoyed channel❤
ok so your choice of music....ON POINT!!!!!!!! 💖💖 Always a good time with you guys. And, oh yeah, we pick up our "Daydream" RV this saturday. Ever since I have started watching you guys to learn and get some tips, ya know, start small start now, we have wanted to get a fifth wheel. Saturday, May 4th - then I retire June 14th...just sayin🎉🎉✨✨🎇🎇🧨🧨✨✨🎉🎉😉😉✌✌
Awesome! Congrats. Take your time and have fun!
Happy Anniversary ❤
Go see Wheel Through time Motorcycle Museum in Maggie Valley NC. Everything is vintage Harley Davidson.
Ordered our Summer to Remember shirts last week…. Can’t wait to wear them and explore
Thank you! We'll keep an eye out for you!
Do you ever "fill in" the space between the front seat and back with storage boxes and then put towels on top of that? We did that with both sides of the rear of our F350 dually and our 2 pups rode to Nova Scotia and back in style. They had more room than us, LOL!
GA 75 is an awesome motorcycle road. I've ridden it many times . Pulling a camper would be another story. Like your 89a, the road ends up in a tourist hell hole, unless you like that kind of thing 🙂 I can't wait to see if Marc likes that kind of thing...
If you are going by Salem Oregon stop by for a hike at Silver Creek Falls, Silverton Oregon!
Cherish each other. Love your channel.
A tip of the helmet for traveling with a Wahoo Kickr trainer! I couldn’t tell if you were Zwifting or not?
"Dog taco" is what we call ours; or simply "daco." Our chocolate Labrador Luna loves it. Give her 5 minutes to lie down and she's in her happy place. G
If you are in Southeast Missouri stop by Perryville MO. First, the best donuts ever at Hoeckle's! Second, an exact replica of the Vietnam Wall. Look up the story. They have an RV park!
Marc, are you still pulling without weight distribution? Wonder if that will help avoid front end separation issues?
Hi there Trish,
That charcoal suitcase grill you used in this episode…please tell me more. It looks so cool!
Thank you.
Same! Would love more info on the grill.
Please put a link to the bikes! What a great idea 😮
Lil bummed about the zip up being the only hoodie option this year but excited it is champion, seemingly just a bit more durable imo. First year mountains was my favorite design. Sadly, that one was retired. I wore it out. Haha
I think I have had every pullover hoodie since the beginning. It's my Father's Day day present to myself.
Great video tonight.
Stay tuned. Trish was really working on a crew sweatshirt, but we couldn't get it right in time.
You really should try to see the Oregon coast if you can. We are fulltiming workampers in Waldport Oregon just south of Newport.
We've done most of the cost, except that section. It's on our list.
Ride the Rails Rail Explorers . We did the rail in Vesailles, Kentucky 👍
Florida Caverns should be on your S2R list…just sayin.
“Pink hotel” - is that Don Cesar? Iconic! Happy 25th🎉
Let them think it's HH Catamarans! Niki and Jason will appreciate the extra hits 😏🍻
Ingles is the best especially the salad and olive bar!!!
Climb South Sister on Central Oregon, bike the Rim of Crater Lake. 😎
Loved the video. Wishing Charlie well. We are doing a trip with our parents~Kentucky Bourbon Trail, Noah’s Ark, Belle Grove Historic District, hitting a Speak Easy in Tulsa.
Take a break from the camper and come sailing with us in Croatia on our Lagoon 450F
We met the guys that make that grill - shown in your video! They are based here in Dallas, humble local folks. We would love to see what you think of it on any of your future episodes. Matt Pittman of Meat Church has these heavy duty portable grills in his shop.
what is the grill they used? I'm interested in getting one!
Don’t you take the bump stops out when you put the air bags in? If so that’s why it hits hard when going over a bump with put air???
What a channel! Great video!
Hi! Was wondering about the Helly Hanson jacket Trish is wearing. What kind (raincoat, etc.) is it? Thanks?
I don’t “Stab” my potatoes, and have never had an issue. Keeps the moisture in.
Did you feel a difference in driving when you got the truck cap?
Ride the Hiawatha trail in Northern idaho!!! S2R!!!
Ingles grocery- best donut in GA!
keep the clips coming
Add to the S2R list...pay for someone's stay...when you are checking out ask them to pick another random guest and pay all or part of their stay as well!
paddle down the Gauley with Caleb.
Congrats on 25. That pink hotel is a big deal
Charlie for the win!
Glacier National Park!!!
Bike ride on the Blue Ridge Pkwy
What happened to the Air Safe hitch? Your comment about the airbags and the "bang" of hitting that expansion joint wouldn't have happened with the airbag built into the Air Safe hitch!
Please please please let me know what Brand your spy glasses are. They have a great quality picture
I'm sure the pink hotel is the Don Cesar in St pete FL.
Too close to home for our 25th. Good guess though! The Don is our "boushie beach day".
Keep Charlie away from chicken, tons of goldies have allergies to it.
We are on number 5 and 6 for our golden retrievers 😊
30 years of joy with them.
Go jet skiing and snorkeling it is the best
Bridge expansion joints are the worst
Have you thought about just flipping the back seats of the truck up and letting Charlie lie in his normal bed on the floor?
We have. We'll give that shot next. It will require a re-org. We have a lot of tools and things under the seat.
Tell me about the grill suitcase? Brand.
Would yall like to ride on the Colonial Bike Trail (Between Jamestown and Richmond Va) on June 19th. My Father will be 93 years old on that day and he rides his bike 100 miles! He has been doing it for many years. I drive the SAG wagon, my Wife and I camp at Chickahominy Park, join us!!! ... Bob W.
How about Go to a Baseball game on your list?, Concert in a park?,
Did I spot you guys driving through Louisville KY today?
Can someone tell me what kind of hitch that is?
Do you like your treker hitch would you recommend that or another brand looking for some suggestions since my treker the bolt to tighten broke it will need to be replaced due to it being discontinued and not carrying parts
We don't have a treker hitch. We have the equalizer, but currently just using the ball. No WD at the moment.
What set up do you use to make your road bike stationary?
We use a Wahoo Smart Trainer with a 12 speed cassette and Zwift app. Love it.
It blows my mind the things people are comfortable with telling others how to use their rig that can cause problems. Soon as you made the comment about caster behind your rig even my wife said is the rear able to support weight like that? I had to leave RV groups because of the amount of information people were telling others as far as sanitary and structural. They would even argue their point , belittle you, etc. just going through these comments I see points made and then corrected. So what's right ? Do you help your self to the knowledge? Ask someone are they an expert, and hope not to offend so they don't thumb war you?
Notice in several videos that you don't use re-useable grocery bags. Any reason why not? Also, that you buy bottled water. Too many southern states, even State Parks, don't recycle, sadly. We take fresh water in clean gallon jugs and re-fill at parks as needed.
A summer to remember suggestion- volunteer choose a shelter children's hospital food bank etc volunteer in a city or town you are visiting!😊
My favorite part of the week is when the new KYD video is up. And glad to see the kid's are doing so well congratulations Tori getting married.
Marc and Trish, it was a pleasure meeting you both and Charlie at Anchors Down, never did I or my wife ever expect to come across paths with you two. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Safe Travels.
Trish, bless your heart, trying to look so excited with Marc showing his improvements when all a girl wants to do is curl up and watch shortbread recipes lol 😊😊
So much fun you mentioned driving the bird, we were just at the RV museum in Elkhart and explored the inside a couple days ago! Loved the decor.
The upholstery really did give us the idea to do RT66. A great season.
We have maintained a travel journal for the past 15 years. We use a simple notebook to list the details of each trip including who went along. We make notes about special moments that happened on that trip. We have filled two notebooks and are well into the third. It's so great to have those memories easily accessible.
Love your vids!
