Thank you from a 70 year old in Arizona. I'm a drummer and a fiddle player and decided I want to learn the guitar. I've been playing country music professionally for 55 years and needed a new challenge. Thanks so much!!!
Thank you! I started to learn the guitar and pretty much gave up, since it was so painful to learn the chords, but I had played the cello for many years. This series gives me hope that I can take up the guitar again and learn. Thanks.
Man thank you so much for the way you explain everything. I've been trying to play acoustic guitar for several years and have had to learn mostly on my own because I could only understand pieces of what people were trying to tell me. You very patiently and thoroughly explain things without assuming us watching have ever strummed an instrument. - Grasshopper
Excellent video & audio quality. So many youtube videos have garbled sections. I also like the way you explain things in detail and don't talk down to viewers.
This is fantastic...I love Country music...I can play a bit of rock music and some other stuff...but really want to play country. Looking forward to this...
I came across your video today, I hope you have plenty of videos on here. I love country music and you give a great breakdown of the cords, and strumming. Great video
Awesome, glad you're putting the videos to good use! Thanks for following the lessons...been at the whole UA-cam guitar lesson thing for a while and still enjoying it. Plenty more videos on the way soon...
I don't believe I do, but I can consider it for a future lesson. You can also request lessons in our community forum at CGO if you're ever interested. Here's a link countryguitaronline.com/community/ Thanks!
Maureen Putt Thanks Maureen! I have some courses I’m working on at my website that might get you headed in the right direction countryguitaronline.com/guitar-courses/ hope that helps! Have a good weekend - Devin

Thanks a lot! Awesome video. Definitely gonna practice this. My problem is that I can't mute the 6th string with my thumb without my other fingers muting all the other strings. I feel like my hand is too small or is that just a practice thing as well? I tried the other variation as well, but that seems to be even tougher haha. Any advice there? Thanks. :)
I'd recommend watching the whole lesson ;) I think you'll see that I tell you and it's pretty straight forward, but let me know if you need help with a certain part after watching it. Thanks for checking out my lessons!
Tune it to standard tuning: E - A - D - G - B - E (the first E there is the low E string which is the thickest string) tons of videos and resources out there for free showing you how to tune. Good luck with it!

+Brandon Trim Thanks! It's kind of a variation of My Church ua-cam.com/video/ouWQ25O-Mcg/v-deo.html really like the melody of that song
Country Guitar Online could do a guitar lesson of your variation plz
Brandon Trim ))
Why cant you get to the countryguitaronline ??? It won't come up for me
I'm a 60 year old beginner!
I guess I’ll have to go look up what these chords are
The chords are explained in the video and you can find the chord charts on Country Guitar Online. Good luck!
He said the chords are G, C and D.
I must have the wrong tuning because mine sounds nothing like yours
This is very hard
Liezel Son just gotta start slow and you’ll get there with practice! Good luck!
why doesn't my guitar sound that good? it's tuned but??
Patricia Clifton most likely because it's a Martin
Dude seriously what strings are you holding. Literally no one one UA-cam is showing what strings their holding in any of these lessons
I'd recommend watching the whole lesson ;) I think you'll see that I tell you and it's pretty straight forward, but let me know if you need help with a certain part after watching it. Thanks for checking out my lessons!
I don't even know if my guitar is tuned
