Jeep CJ steering shaft replacement

A worn steering shaft can cause very loose steering. It looks like a tough job to replace, but it is not.

And the steering is unbelievable! Thank you so much! I think you literally saved my life. My Jeep had a full half turn in the wheel. Not anymore! Now I can enjoy driving my girl.

Hey this is cool, maybe the shaft is made for just a little bit older model since it fit my 79 cj5 perfect. Thank you for this video it helped me a lot

It looks that way, but the wheels were not straight. It is difficult to mess that up because the shaft only goes on one way.
