Props for that first hit but MORE props for the WR for holding onto the ball!! Obviously he didnt hit him hard enough.
That reciever at the end has a future in football as a WR, there’s not to many highschool receivers who can take a shot from a safety like that on a quick slant and hang on to the ball. Route running and agility can be improved by higher level coaches and conditioning, toughness and grit cant.

I played for a small school. I just wanted to play basketball, but we had to play every sport or none to keep our teams alive. I got put at WR (I was tiny) and I always thanked dudes like this that wouldn't pulverize me every play 😂

When you go over the middle, you have to mentally prepare for a monster hit to come.

First tackle shouldn't have been a flag. Look to me like shoulder to chest hit. Now the last tackle can go either way.....looked like safety was going shoulder to head and any deliberate shot to the head is always going to be a flag.
