My take on this is that it takes place not long after GLaDOS was brought online, and you're playing as one of the Aperture Science workers, a guy named Adam. We know from the main game that GLaDOS killed her creators with a neurotoxin, but in this game it seems like she kept some of them alive for testing. As for the glimpses of spooky chairs and stuff, I'm guessing that GLaDOS was conducting her tests virtually so her subjects could "die" repeatedly without actually being killed. Your body is actually in chair, being experimented on, and you only think you're running around the facility. The "Are you OK?" notes and stuff on the walls, those are messages from a co-worker/fellow test subject, and in the end you escape together.
That sound like it could work, and the core that gets broken off is the corrupted morality core, by getting rid of it GLaDOS no long has morality but can now function much better.
I played portal ages ago but I found it much creepier than this supposed "horror version". What am I supposed to be scared of devs? The CHAIR? (Still watched all the ads for you ABG, keep up the great work!)

This really makes you wonder about the Aperture Science Laboratory working conditions after 9999999...9 years of working. Portal itself is already a horror game there is no human interactions just you the only human in the facility along with a murderous intent killing AI and turrets makes you wonder what happened at Aperture, but at least you get to talk to GLaDOS in this mod you don't and the turret doesn't work properly which is weirddd.

A lot of what makes this scary is just the sheer ending dead silence and everything is so dark..
holy cow just realized we're only 25k from 500k subs congrats ABG!
1:39 bro my pressure dropped when he entered the portal
Another good reason to remember 2007 orange box purchase.
What I got:
What I expected:
GLaDOS: hrr derr gerr ib derr
I played portal ages ago but I found it much creepier than this supposed "horror version". What am I supposed to be scared of devs? The CHAIR?
(Still watched all the ads for you ABG, keep up the great work!)
I feel like the blood scratch messages took away from the feel more than it did add to it 🤔
Yo! this is awesome!
I was not expecting this from abg
true
Wow a portal adventure!
This is the data back up Chel that Glados has in case something terrible happens to you
Hope Valve doesn't throw a hissy fit over a fan who basically dedicated a game to them.
Nah, valve are pretty good like that
Fun fact: the turret sounds come from am animation called: BEST PORTAL 2 DEFECTIVE TURRETS.
I like to think that this is a parallel universe where Chell died and didn't defeat GLaDOs. This takes place decades after Portal.
Huh glad to see portal is still alive but I'd rather stay and mess with my friends on portal 2
0:49 the music sounds like a heavily hangover mariachi band
am i the only one who doesn't really find this scary, just... weird?
it's also kinda unnerving that GLaDOS isn't there at all.
ok i know it says aperture but with that circle in right side of the a it kind of spells capture a bit
Ima like this game
woah, ABG doing a gameplay of a HL2 mod :o
Is it not a portal mod?
It's a portal mod
Source mod would be more accurate.
That being said, there's plenty of really good mods he could have played, but he played this poorly made thing instead.
Wow awesome this mod is awesome
Imagine if this game of portal was literally a portal, to a different universe, and a few days after playing the full game you see mysterious sphere shaped figures in your house on and off.

Body behind the cube.
If theres anything that scares me more in video games its loud buzzing noises.
Если бы valve хотели сделать хоррор
Love it!!
I once played this
When I say ‘played’, I mean that I stood in one spot because I was too scared to move
I think, that Portal : ERROR is a pirated version of original Portal
I just got anxiety by the eerie of this game... Cool game anyways
Ah Portal. Underrated horror game
So ABG just covering mods now?
I mean it's basically a full-blown fangame, I think it's close enough
This is most discomfort game I've seen recently..I don't know why but this makes me terrified....
Posted 10 seconds ago. Noice.
I won't even post my own comment. Nope. I don't deserve it. I'll sit here and worship you instead, WatchGod 4chan.
Godspeed. May you forever be the fastest trigger in the [ERROR].
@@buzzfiend this is how a stroke looks like
@@alienduce-unocero Well someone "liked" me having a stroke. That's what worries me.
@@buzzfiend now its 2...
Portal 1 is already scary, why do you need to turn a perfect horror game educating you with portals to end the suffering into a LITERAL nightmare?
