OK for the person who asked about the "so much white people stuff", this is the answer maybe you visited the city and you you saw a lot of whites living in San Miguel and in fact the city is a favorite place for retired northamericans from Canada and the States so those people come to Mexico to live the rest of their life and in regard with the indigenous people maybe the vendor in the streets or the tour guide or the hotel host are the indigenous people but now living like a crossbred citizen the indigenous people are integrated to the mestiza society and in fact the crossbred people in Mexico are just a few most of the mexican population have a very strong indian origin 90% of them with 80 or 90% of indian blood so in every mexican that you see in the streets of this country could be an indigenous person.

El guía se equivocó al decir que San Miguel tiene una planta de cuadrícula heredada de las ciudades musulmanas, esto es totalmente falso ,las ciudades musulmanas se caracterizan por lo contrario ,calles angostas y enmarañadas.Las ciudades que tomaron como referencia los españoles a la hora de trazar las urbes del nuevo mundo, fueron las romanas ,las cuales SI tenían planta de cuadrícula.
