This was a beautiful video. Every part of it so peaceful to listen to, your commentary connects all the points of each song to the overall theme very well, and the visuals too, are done nicely too. I loved the interludes too, very poetic, and just gave a break to process the stuff you're saying. Can tell you put a lot of hard work on this video. Good stuff man.
thank you 🙏🏾🙏🏾 i want to experiment more with getting other peoples feeling about projects i talk about rather than just my own experience so thank you for noticing 🔥
You absolutely nailed it. Man, i’m so glad it happened, but i’ll never not shed a tear listening to that track. Love is the closest thing we have to magic in real life.
Seigfried is a masterpiece of art. His message is saying he’s a coward because he’s settling for things which people value but he personally doesn’t. That’s my interpretation of it at least.
when i was 16 during covid me and my buddies would do drugs and they decided to try acid but i was scared so i trip sat. I remember not sleeping all night and we went to a golf course to watch the sunrise. I must have listened to this album a hundred times that night. I can still feel the dew soaking my converse as we ran into the course with the sky just as pink as in the song. forever one of my favorite memories.
Probably one of his best albums. Not my favorite but Blonde is an essential part of Franks brand, and blonde not only gave us emotional songs such as White Ferrari, Ivy, and Godspeed but also had all time classics such as Nikes or Nights.
I couldn't agree more! Blond is definitely one of Frank Ocean's best projects, and it's an essential part of his brand as an artist. I completely understand that it may not be everyone's favorite album of his, but it's hard to deny the impact it has on so many people
@@RealSpacial facts Blonde speaks in volumes to a lot of people of any race, sexuality, gender. Seriously one of the most impactful albums of the last decade.
this album came out when i was 19, in my sophomore year of college, and going through my first heartbreak with my first love. when i come across this album now, i can vividly remember the visceral feeling of that heartbreak and the complicated existential transition we all experience between child- to adult- hood. i look fondly at that time and how blond got me through what i thought was "the end of the world". blond did such an extraordinary job in portraying how beautiful and painful love and growing up is, which is why i think new generations can relate and future generations will relate to
Wow, spot on i felt it in my chest we share the same feelings and its actually in music , wow the meaning of music😩 thats crazy i hope ur alright and staying above waters i love you

Thank you for this amazing video, I don't know why this only got 80K views at the time I'm watching this. This deserves to blow up
You did Frank Justice🖤🔥 I love how you sequenced his work in the beginning. A lot of people really don’t know what he went through to please his fans and create the music he wanted. Not only is he a mastermind with his music but also with managing how we get to experience it. 💫 Been listening to this man for a decade and love the beautiful music he blesses us with no matter how long we wait lol 🌻
It's great to hear that you enjoyed the video and found the sequencing of Frank Ocean's work to be well-done. It's always a pleasure to see an artist who truly loves and respects their craft, and Frank Ocean is definitely one of those artists. Thank you for your kind words and for being apart of the making of this video 🖤

You did your thing on this. Encapsulating the feelings and emotions many of us feel for this album, while still bringing in your perspective. Art is beautiful and Blonde captures the beauty of it, ranging from every emotion possible.
Such a beautiful tribute to this special album ✨ Maybe some here will appreciate my Blonde listening story: My high school boyfriend introduced me to Frank Ocean through Channel Orange. He would drive me around at night, we’d talk about the lyrics and transitions, soak up that irresistible feeling of a first love, and sneak around like reckless teens, so I love Franks consistent use of cars in his music. He also used to make fun of my blonde hair in school… And I still listen to the The Lonny Breaux Collection he downloaded to my iPod touch at the time :) We ended up having a couple dramatic breakups with lots of heartache, but we kept coming back together. On again off again from freshman year of high school til graduating college. One of those (sort of) on again moments was brought on by Frank, of course. It was fall 2016, my freshman year of college. We’d had our messiest breakup over the summer but I felt I was moving on. He texted me after midnight that Frank had released a new album. I immediately rushed over with a way too expensive Uber, a bit self conscious of what my new roommate was thinking of me. We spent the night in the dark, laying on the bed, soft tears streaming down our faces, holding hands, holding each other, thinking about what we’d gained and lost together, listening to the album over and over. I am transported to that night every time I listen to Blonde. It brings me to a place of deep, but peaceful sadness. And gratitude for what we experienced together. It makes me happy to know this album touches so many others in such a similar way, it makes me feel really connected to the world, when at that time, I could only see our own personal hell. The line that stuck with me most from this album and that night is “Wish we’d grown up on the same advice, and our time was right” from Self Control. It so perfectly captured that hopeless longing for me and him to work out even though I knew it wasn’t possible. That kind of sentiment is what kept us in the silly on and off for years, we never had the self control to end those games. We’ve (hopefully) matured and realized it wasn’t meant to be, that “We’ll never be those kids again”, and that makes way for pleasant feelings and memories to come through, many of which are related to Frank :) “We both know that deep down, the feeling still deep down is good” I wouldn’t be surprised if he watches this same video and even comes across my comment some day. I hope he looks back on that night as fondly as I do. “I care for you still and I will forever, That was my part of the deal, honest” Love to all the Frank fans and the creator of the video
Album came out while I was 15 in high school it was whatever to me as I couldn’t relate to many of the themes of love and being yourself back then but now I’m 22 and man oh man does this album speak so much to me. Self control and white Ferrari hit so hard after a 4 year long relationship. Nights just feels how you just hit hard after coming down from a week long bender. Godspeed is the perfect way to end it because after all I wish no could to anyone but love from afar. This is the kind of album that just ages fine like wine. The older I’m getting the more I understand it and the closer i get with it. Frank really is a generational icon and him just wanting to put out music and not do interviews and be secluded is extremely relatable.
I loved your friend's comment about how blond serves as a checkpoint in their life, I definitely agree. I remember what I was going through and where I was when I hear certain songs or parts of songs
Crazy to think we’re closing near to a decade of hearing this album, I been listening to it since the 7th grade, crazy af considering I’m a grown as man and every year I hear it the album it just makes more and more sense. I’ll never be one of those ppl who demands an album from frank, quite frankly this album is the perfect exit album, the perfect magnum opus
Bro how does this video doesn’t have a billion views? This is such a beautiful work.. man probs to you! I loved the vid and even had to cry here and there.. thank you man!
this album is beautiful as is this video. i remember even before i started getting into music i kinda liked this album even though i had only been listening to like edm and my dads rock stuff. now years later, i have probably never felt so low and came back to this album. this january has been truly difficult for no reason, i have just been feeling like absolute sht. this album is something i have been listening to daily now and it just kind of hugs me and makes me emotional. not because of the lyrics and themes necessarily but just the gorgeous production and sense of comfort it gives. i don't open up to people but i feel like i can open up to this album (and ig it made me slightly open up in a yt comment lol). thank you very much for this very nice video. i know that i will revisit it in the future. please have a blessed night
had known about him for a while but only got into Frank a couple months ago, can’t really relate to most of the stuff on his songs but i still feel like it hits me just as hard
This man really was a genius. I never knew it until you explained the methods of his recordings. Makes me doubt I can do anything substantial with music I wanna make in the future, but I know that’s just a lie. Regardless, it is truly genuine, authentic, honest music that Frank had made. It’s only recently I’m listening to his music too. I know I know I’m late sorry, but I’m glad I did. Thank you for this video dude. Your vid’s are very nice and informative and it has soul compared to the other channels that just recite and/or expose someone lol. Yahuwah(God) bless you bro :)
Found you through the polls that you post, and I’m so pleasantly surprised by how much work you’ve put into these mini documentaries. Keep it going, your style is amazing man
Thank you for this video! Been reflecting on Blond lately on how it impacted my life. It forced me to reflect on my life in a way I wasn’t able to before, and it continues to push me into uncomfortable ideas I have yet explored
This is probably the best, and most enjoyable video I've seen about Blonde. All of your interpretations about each track and the analysis of the lyrics made this really enjoyable to listen and watch. Hope you do this for other artists, maybe Tyler, Daniel Caesar, Kendrick maybe? Great job overall my guy.
I have fallen in love with this channel, with music being such a big part of my life being a character trait damn near. This is art man honestly I appreciate what you do!!!

I’m loving this video so far! Blonde happened just when I moved to university and met my first boyfriend. I remember lying on the bed, listening to it on the speakers and feeling love for the first time. Immature but so sweet ✨
whenever pink and white plays in the background of a frank ocean video i just can´t focus on anything else bro😭but this video was just brilliant and truly insightful and i appreciate the effort you put in to create this amazing experience for us viewers so much!
I hate that I have to keep my comment this short, but I need to say this. This video was a masterpiece. Thank you for commenting on this absolute beauty of an album
I really appreciate your breaking down of each song. this man is so influential, it's amazing to see the reach he has. "Close to You" is probably my favorite on the album. *edit* Godspeed is an honorable mention.
incredible video bro. So much hard work and effort must've gone into documenting one of the most complex, mind-blowingly incredible albums ever made. props to u
ive watched this over four times, and i believe its the most perfect representation and explanation of the album blonde. blonde will forever be nostalgic for me. represents a peaceful time for me. a specific memory always plays when i think of frank ocean, or even blonde. it reminds me of this summer night in the pool with my older sister while we listened to him and talked about life whilst basking underneath the stars. its one of my favorite memories with her even if we dont have a good relationship now.
@@RealSpacial u deserve it! jaguar II victoria monet, renaissance beyonce, camp childish gambino, trapsoul bryson tiller, ctrl sza, over it summer walker, heaux tales jazmine sullivan. all 10/10 albums!
what a beautiful video essay. I enjoyed it very much. you seem very emotionally intelligent to see all of these - I didn't understand a lot of these observations. great video and editing
Frank Ocean gave me a lot of different emotions. Ivy gave me two different feelings on two different ends of a relationship. His line of “I said I love you” I remember me and my ex were listening to it and I asked her how she felt when I said that. It gave her that feeling and same for me. And on the other side of the relationship, a break up, I kept thinking back to that moment and not knowing if I could love again, or get that same feeling. Then rolls in Seigfried which encapsulated the feeling of the depressive stage in a break up. Even tho the song may not actually have that as the meaning, the way the production and way he sang was what gave that vibe. Self Control was one of the many songs I played for my ex when we were in quarantine. Since we couldn’t see each other even tho we lived a town away, I got creative and did a zoom concert of some sort and sang songs like Billie Eilish songs, Beatles and Frank Ocean’s Self Control, all singing while playing them on the ukulele. Also learned Seigfried but only after the break up as again, Seigfried encapsulated how I felt. I have a friend that doesn’t like Frank and I don’t blame him. He has never gotten serious with a girl so what Frank says he can’t relate with and Frank didn’t bring any memories to him.
This helped me get thru a break up in 2016 I was in the Arcata Marshland and I would spend time there in peace listening to Blonde, and it’s crazy how it can have the same effect on another relationship this year forever eternal.
His album gives me goosebumps each time I listen to it, it so peaceful and really nice that I can understand unlike most people who said it was trash, and clearly didn't listen to it without skipping.
I’m only 9 minutes in, but this + the J. Coke video really earned the like, comment, subscribe, bell, and all that. Amazing content man I can’t wait for this channel to blow up
Becoming a music/hiphop (ik blond is technically rnb) in 2022/2023 is great, as I've had time to go back and listen to all the modern classics from the last decade or so. This video helped me appreciate Blond so much more than when I listened to it for the first time a few days ago. I'll definitley subscribe and look out for what you make in the future!
Incredible deep dive into this nostalgic masterpiece. I've never seen such a detailed analysis of blonde. Understanding the symbolisms, experiences and memories of Frank. I'd like to mention how he references lots of religious ideologies and items such as; yarmulke, nirvana highlighting his resonance with spirituality.
The way in which people of our generation connect to this album, universally in some ways but so so uniquely and personally in others, is so beautiful. There are some songs that call back to that one moment that you can never share with another person, but the feelings you have listening are so similar. Idk if that makes sense lol
Incredible video, analysis, and presentation. I’ve listened to this album every few weeks since it came out. I was on vacation with my ex girlfriend to visit her family. I would lie awake at night and listened to this album for the first time. Feeling so close, just a few rooms away but so far away. Thank you for this video and the new and personal insight on this masterpiece.
it’s so crazy cause i’m at a period in my life where i’m reflecting and i remember telling my cousin and sister awhile back that i feel like i would get into frank ocean when i’m going through a deep reflective point in my life and here i am. i didn’t know what this space would intel or look like but music is how i connect with most things so to have frank be by my side in a sense makes me feel less alone in what i’ve gone/going through. it’s like we’re the same person frfr. thank you so much for this. ❤️
i’m so happy that your getting into his music! i’m sure you already know but Frank really never disappoints.. And i completely agree! His music makes me feel less alone too! that’s why i have such a strong connection to the art he puts out. Thanks for watching! I honestly look forward to your comments again in the future, they’re always so insightful❤️🪐

bruv the amount of time and effort put into your vids is insane man, i love your editing style and i hope you blow up
thanks for watching bro 🙏🏾 i’m just enjoying every step of the process
@@RealSpacial trust the process
great documentary, been watching this religiously over the past 2 weeks, thank you !!
This is one of my favorite videos I still come back to watch it every now and then
this album is beautiful as is this video. i remember even before i started getting into music i kinda liked this album even though i had only been listening to like edm and my dads rock stuff. now years later, i have probably never felt so low and came back to this album. this january has been truly difficult for no reason, i have just been feeling like absolute sht. this album is something i have been listening to daily now and it just kind of hugs me and makes me emotional. not because of the lyrics and themes necessarily but just the gorgeous production and sense of comfort it gives. i don't open up to people but i feel like i can open up to this album (and ig it made me slightly open up in a yt comment lol).
thank you very much for this very nice video. i know that i will revisit it in the future. please have a blessed night
THIS IS THE BEST THING I’VE SEEN THIS MONTH.
🫶🏾
One day frank will release a new album, and we will be here watching your video essay about it. Now when that next album comes out, who knows.
i will be returning to this comment when that day comes my friend 🤝🏾 meet me here
Idk how your channel hasn’t blown up yet. Stay down til you come up bro, it’s coming. Amazing video. Please don’t stop.
constantly playing the back until it’s undeniable 😤💪🏾
this is by far the best video essay i have seen on youtube. love how you meshed in track analysis and so much cut scenes, great work!
Wow, thank you! Thats a huge compliment
whats your favorite track on the album?
This video is so beautifully made, perfectly compliments the vibes of the album
thank you so much🤞🏾🤞🏾
had known about him for a while but only got into Frank a couple months ago, can’t really relate to most of the stuff on his songs but i still feel like it hits me just as hard
🙏🏾🙏🏾
This man really was a genius. I never knew it until you explained the methods of his recordings. Makes me doubt I can do anything substantial with music I wanna make in the future, but I know that’s just a lie. Regardless, it is truly genuine, authentic, honest music that Frank had made. It’s only recently I’m listening to his music too. I know I know I’m late sorry, but I’m glad I did. Thank you for this video dude. Your vid’s are very nice and informative and it has soul compared to the other channels that just recite and/or expose someone lol. Yahuwah(God) bless you bro :)
the way the sound is so nicely edited in plus of the amazing analyze this video is perfect
Wow, thank you!
Such a beautiful video thank you for taking the time to make this very much appreciated thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for taking the time to watch!
I absolutely loved this video. Your track-by-track analysis actually helped me learn more about these beautiful songs that I've always loved.
i’m glad you gained some new perspective 🖤🤝🏾
Found you through the polls that you post, and I’m so pleasantly surprised by how much work you’ve put into these mini documentaries. Keep it going, your style is amazing man
im glad you like what you see 🤝🏾 come coming v soon
Thank you for this video! Been reflecting on Blond lately on how it impacted my life. It forced me to reflect on my life in a way I wasn’t able to before, and it continues to push me into uncomfortable ideas I have yet explored
yes! it’s an album with an infinite amount of depth, i feel that it will continue to change and forge over the years.. literally aging like fine wine
Wow. The ending during futura free when youre askijg your friends about their dreams was genuinely incredible. Absolutely beatiful filmmaking
thank you so much! i love a good finale
This is probably the best, and most enjoyable video I've seen about Blonde. All of your interpretations about each track and the analysis of the lyrics made this really enjoyable to listen and watch. Hope you do this for other artists, maybe Tyler, Daniel Caesar, Kendrick maybe? Great job overall my guy.
just saw your vid on kendrick..... wow great job
Wow, thank you!
I actually have a Channel Orange video dropping this week!
I have fallen in love with this channel, with music being such a big part of my life being a character trait damn near. This is art man honestly I appreciate what you do!!!

Damn I loved this 😭 Thank you for keeping my sanity while I wait for his next album to drop in 2049 🙏🙏🙏 The final section of this video is so moving
lmaoo this was for my sanity as well so i understand what you mean 😭 and i’m glad the ending could resonate with you! If you don’t mind me asking what does Blond mean to you?
I’m loving this video so far! Blonde happened just when I moved to university and met my first boyfriend. I remember lying on the bed, listening to it on the speakers and feeling love for the first time. Immature but so sweet ✨
What a beautiful memory 🙏🏾
I’ve watched so many blonde video essays and this one right here is easily the best one
thank you! I love blond so i put a lot of time into this one
This, the tyler video and especially the GKMC video are all golden, you HAVE TO continue
whenever pink and white plays in the background of a frank ocean video i just can´t focus on anything else bro😭but this video was just brilliant and truly insightful and i appreciate the effort you put in to create this amazing experience for us viewers so much!
crazy how ive been so passionate with frank 's music and yet i didnt know what any of his lyrics really meant.thanks for sharing man!
yes! there’s a story in every track, but at the same time it means something unique to everyone which is why i love this album so much
I hate that I have to keep my comment this short, but I need to say this.
This video was a masterpiece. Thank you for commenting on this absolute beauty of an album

I've heard frank's story on like 20 videos upto now and I still enjoy hearing it
- a true frank fan
I really appreciate your breaking down of each song. this man is so influential, it's amazing to see the reach he has. "Close to You" is probably my favorite on the album.
*edit*
Godspeed is an honorable mention.
I love what you did with the interviews… last line was so tough… chefs kiss
thanks etana‼️🖤
the first time i listened to blond i was 14, and it was a random summer evening, and i just sat at my window watching the sun set.
beautiful
incredible video bro. So much hard work and effort must've gone into documenting one of the most complex, mind-blowingly incredible albums ever made. props to u
ive watched this over four times, and i believe its the most perfect representation and explanation of the album blonde. blonde will forever be nostalgic for me. represents a peaceful time for me. a specific memory always plays when i think of frank ocean, or even blonde. it reminds me of this summer night in the pool with my older sister while we listened to him and talked about life whilst basking underneath the stars. its one of my favorite memories with her even if we dont have a good relationship now.
binging all of these videos right now
love bro 🖤🔥🙏🏾🙏🏾
the editing, visuals, audio!!! this the best yt video ive ever watched
wow that’s a HUGE compliment 🖤🔥 thank you for your words.. What other projects or artist would you like to see me cover?
@@RealSpacial u deserve it! jaguar II victoria monet, renaissance beyonce, camp childish gambino, trapsoul bryson tiller, ctrl sza, over it summer walker, heaux tales jazmine sullivan. all 10/10 albums!
@@funmibi you have amazing taste! 🔥 I definitely plan on making videos about all of these albums
what a beautiful video essay. I enjoyed it very much. you seem very emotionally intelligent to see all of these - I didn't understand a lot of these observations. great video and editing
Glad you enjoyed it!
imo Blond is the greatest album OAT. It really has changed my life and I revisit it every single day. Beautiful video!
🖤🔥
what’s your favorite song on blond?
This is really put together perfectly. Thank you for this, great job!
i’m glad you could enjoy 🖤
Thanks for sharing your experience my boy. I wish you the best in future relationships
This one made me cry. Well done.
thanks for watching man, it’s definitely a powerful album
This helped me get thru a break up in 2016 I was in the Arcata Marshland and I would spend time there in peace listening to Blonde, and it’s crazy how it can have the same effect on another relationship this year forever eternal.
His album gives me goosebumps each time I listen to it, it so peaceful and really nice that I can understand unlike most people who said it was trash, and clearly didn't listen to it without skipping.
I’m only 9 minutes in, but this + the J. Coke video really earned the like, comment, subscribe, bell, and all that. Amazing content man I can’t wait for this channel to blow up
i appreciate you bro 🔥🔥🔥
excited to have you apart of the fam 🤝🏾🤝🏾
this vid was poetic bro keep grinding
for sure 🔥🤘🏾
This was amazing omg thank you for creating something so beautiful.
thank you for watching 🖤🔥 if you don’t mind me asking what was your favorite song analysis?
Becoming a music/hiphop (ik blond is technically rnb) in 2022/2023 is great, as I've had time to go back and listen to all the modern classics from the last decade or so. This video helped me appreciate Blond so much more than when I listened to it for the first time a few days ago. I'll definitley subscribe and look out for what you make in the future!
good luck on your journey! 🔥 and cant wait to see your thoughts in my future videos 🤝🏾
ivy always hits home
real
that documentary is the most beautiful thing i have seen in forever
Im glad you liked it! whats your favorite song from Blond?
Incredible deep dive into this nostalgic masterpiece. I've never seen such a detailed analysis of blonde. Understanding the symbolisms, experiences and memories of Frank. I'd like to mention how he references lots of religious ideologies and items such as; yarmulke, nirvana highlighting his resonance with spirituality.
The way in which people of our generation connect to this album, universally in some ways but so so uniquely and personally in others, is so beautiful. There are some songs that call back to that one moment that you can never share with another person, but the feelings you have listening are so similar. Idk if that makes sense lol
It make sense
Incredible video, analysis, and presentation. I’ve listened to this album every few weeks since it came out. I was on vacation with my ex girlfriend to visit her family. I would lie awake at night and listened to this album for the first time. Feeling so close, just a few rooms away but so far away. Thank you for this video and the new and personal insight on this masterpiece.
your very welcome my friend 🔥🖤
This is a fanstastic video. I love all of the details. Keep it up, you bought be on the top fr
Thanks for watching bro! im just taking it one video at a time
underrated asl, great video bro
thanks for watching 🤝🏾
I'll always be grateful to this album for helping me get through break up and showing me it will be okay.
thats real
it’s so crazy cause i’m at a period in my life where i’m reflecting and i remember telling my cousin and sister awhile back that i feel like i would get into frank ocean when i’m going through a deep reflective point in my life and here i am. i didn’t know what this space would intel or look like but music is how i connect with most things so to have frank be by my side in a sense makes me feel less alone in what i’ve gone/going through. it’s like we’re the same person frfr. thank you so much for this. ❤️
i’m so happy that your getting into his music! i’m sure you already know but Frank really never disappoints.. And i completely agree! His music makes me feel less alone too! that’s why i have such a strong connection to the art he puts out. Thanks for watching! I honestly look forward to your comments again in the future, they’re always so insightful❤️🪐
What’s your favorite frank song?
@@RealSpacial it may seem typical cause i’ve seen that many people like this one but pyramids as of rn. i like it purposely for its story line and there’s so many ways you can interpret it.. as a story. at least for me there is. also, the production is crazyy! it really captivates me in a way i can’t even put into words.
thats not typical.. its a very loved song for a reason! Pryamids is great
Such an incredible video. I watched it and it felt like it completely flew by. This is the type of shit I wish I was smart and talented enough to create. This is the first video I've seen from you but at this rate, this is about to be my favorite UA-cam channel. Amazing insight on such an incredible, mysterious, and thoughtful artist. I NEED you to blow up man. I'm honestly shocked that you don't have multiple million subscribers. You definitely have all of the talent and capabilities to do so. I completely, 100%, believe in you. Can't wait to see what you do next; I'll definitely be here waiting!

Yup
Thank you for creating this :)
Of course!
Wow, I would listen to this album before and at that time I was in a terrible relationship but I would just go with it because I thought she was the best I could ever do. Now after we broke up and listening to this album and watching your video showed me a whole new view on what I went through and what I let happen !
Understandable, blond shows us the ups and downs of the relationships we have while growing up and how it shapes us.. i'm glad my video and the album especially could help you
Not usually a commenter but wow, this video is incredible. Well done for putting the time and effort into the deep dive of this (I forgot how amazing) album!
