  • In this video I show you how to convert HLG3 footage into Rec.709 using 'Color Space Transform' (CST) in Davinci Resolve.

If you don't know me, I'm a filmmaker, photographer, writer, and whatever else I feel like doing - the list is endless. Also wanna flex on being a Metalhead, Gamer, Otaku, and many other interesting things all at once! Here I create content and frequently try to rewrite myself. I also zone out while thinking about existence and the meaning of life. And then at the end of the day, I tell an offensive joke and now everybody hates me. :)
Shot on Sony ZV E-10 with the Vivitar 28mm f2.5 lens.
Edited and Graded in Davinci Resolve 18

I have a question. Why is your inpput color space sRGB. HLG is REC2020/BT2100, so to my opinion the input color space has to be in the same input color space as well. And sRGB is for PC Monitor, photo's, etc, but film/video is Rec709 standard definition, per definition. Cheers Harold
