Hard mode is not that easy even with all the current broken equipment. But random casuals after getting lucky 3 star in a friendly challenge think it's easy.

@r3ktsoldier8 Nope. There is no point of doing fast attacks because perfect wars are rare in hard mode.

@@r3ktsoldier8 ngl we were probably trying to just get 15 stars and pray for defense all the way, there's no way you can keep up on time with MMG, imo they have best form right now time wise etc, just that rare miss or kingsman fail would've won us the war which ended up happening :D ofc other than ptacnik showing off per usual lmaoo

You know balancing is absolutely horrendous when these players can 3 star on Hard Mode in less than a minute.
Hopefully the equipment and troop nerfs combined with the new hard mode adjustments helps
@@justinjosie5417 The equipment buffs/nerfs only changed the meta slightly but the real issue is weak defenses overall at all TH levels.
From the very latest sneek peek at this time of writing, it looks like the devs are aiming to address that concern via Supercharging defenses. Hard mode also got some nerfs and there are still pros 3 starring bases in under a minute on Hard Mode before the nerfs to it.
I think the snacks will be a good idea, especially the one for heroes/gear to allow attacking with maxed gear. However, I think the devs are going to use that as an opportunity to gain data on how EVERYONE with maxed gear attacks to see the 3* rates in order to better balance them in the future.
I'll still stand by the statement that gear is too strong and defenses are too weak, though.
@@McBooma16 I do agree defenses are too weak but only slightly. I think the bigger problem was the hero equipment. And I think the nerfs they’re getting are fantastic. 90% of players used giant gauntlet, hog puppet, eternal tome, healing tome, and spiky ball. I think the nerfs will really help bring some equipments more in line.
And I’m not sure what you meant about hard mode getting a nerf since as far as I know there’s only been one version of hard mode. But the changes they will make next update will really shake things up. Bringing the epics down by 6 levels and the commons by 3 on top of many getting nerfed is huge. I think pros will have a much harder time on hard mode after this. Damage equipment is by far the strongest thing in hard mode and they’re getting hit hard with this update
@@justinjosie5417 I probably misunderstood but correct me if I'm wrong. Putting the gear caps aside for Hard Mode, I thought I saw something along the lines of the basic Hard Mode stats like defense HP boost going from 20% to 10% and Hero HP going down from 10% to 5%, making defenses weaker on Hard Mode and Heroes a little stronger. I stated before that pros are already 3*ing bases in less than a minute on Hard Mode and a change like that isn't conducive to a better Hard Mode.
@@McBooma16 oh ok, I understand now. You’re correct, there is a slight nerf in that sense. Hero health is going from -10% to -5% and damage is going from -15% to -5% so you’re correct that in that sense hard mode is getting a nerf. However, this is only to base hero stats. Ever since equipment came out, the base hero stat isn’t near as strong as the equipment. Gaining 10% damage doesn’t even come close to making up for 6 lost levels on your equipment. Most equipments have damage and health buffs anyway that when lost negate this small stat buff, on top of losing power in the actual ability.
