Booker T is a true professional!!
When he’s not making up stories about heat with other wrestlers then sure
Booker T name dropping his wrestling children in each and every podcast, liked a proud father/mentor he has created..
Can’t blame him I’m a father
Two very big parts of my childhood right here ❤
Big Facts 💯
Booker T is the reason I started watching wrestling. I remember seeing him randomly on WCW once as a kid and he hooked me. Turned me into a fan of his and the business. Top 5 all time. Much love, Book. Really gotta meet him one day.
Same for me. I used to watch Harlem Heat in person in savannah Georgia
I remember randomly seeing him on a TV at the bowling alley with no sound, I was probably like 8 years old and they had WCW on. Didn't know much about wrestling but I could already tell he was a star.
@@meanguy111 Nice. I saw him while I was randomly flipping thru channels and Book had me glued to the set. His move set and his athleticism and footwork is one of a kind.
@@vct454 Dope story. I was flipping thru channels at home. Probably about 7 years old. Saw Book and Stevie Ray but Book is the one who drew my attention with his move set. Locked me in. Became a fan of wrestling as a whole after that. Because of him.
His missile drop kick and scissor kick got me hooked.
Booker T And The Undertaker Such A Awesome Interview Today!!🔥🐐🐐💎
0:20 this is my answer to that question from here on... "With my hands" 😂😂😂
Man, two major figures of my childhood. So awesome to see. I’m so glad they’re both healthy and doing well!
Unbelievable Undertaker
They are doing each other's podcasts this is awesome
This is straight up knowledge! I guess I may be that old or seasoned as a fan. Been watching since I was 6 and am 51 now but have more of an appreciation when I see some stuff like this. Good health brothers ✌🏾🤘🏽
Since 1978, The year I was born?
Such a great conversation without taker’s usual co-host interrupting him every sentence ❤
This was great to hear from both of the legends talking about the business 👌
Awesome stuff, thanks for all the memories guys!
Bro Brad Gilmore from the Schmoedown recap is hooked up with Booker Ts podcast now. Good for you Brad
This was such a fun and easy listen as someone who grew up watching these guys this was awesome
Now give it a few days we’ll see Undertaker interviewing Booker on @SixFeetUnderwithMarkCalaway
12:53 This is why I loved, loved the Bad Blood Cody Rhodes/Roman Reigns vs the Usurper/Lap Dog. They took time and space that had a Mania feel. There was space and transitions done right, but it also felt like the crazy moves were necessary. Ie Cody jumping on Jacob from the post.
The creator of the Harlem Hangover saying he ain't diving off nothing 😂😂
2 of my guys Booker T and Undertaker
2 bad ass, world champion Hall of famers from Houston, Texas.
I rather take advice and learnings with veterans of 15-20-30 years experience than someone who has 30 months over me. Wrestling is always about story telling, the moves are the illustration
Wrestling is more about statements, and the results on display in real time from those statements. "Story telling" sounds so weak, good grief!
There is a hole I see in the presentation as far as tag team wrestling, and using it to propel storylines that are on par with the singles titles. If the Freebird rules are applied, then the belts can be used to advance faction storylines as well as put aside using trios titles. Thanks for reading
Two of my favorite wrestlers of all time.
Two Legends and two Men who have given there all for this business ❤🎉.
wtf this is sick!!!!
What do you mean?
@@charlessalazar8012 IT IS SICK!!!!
@@charlessalazar8012it's sick.
Ya know... 🤢 🤮
@@charlessalazar8012Meaning it's good.
Taker with the shades on top of his bandana be giving off Hollywood Hogan vibes.😂
Anyway this brings me back to the feud Booker and Taker had back in Judgment Day 2004 , ahh nostalgia bites 😅
*American badass angle vibes
Genuine laughter
GREAT AS ALWAYS,
Booker and Undertaker Legends
AWESOME EPISODE GUYS! the story of taker hitting book was funny man
Fun fact booker t is the god father one of undertaker's children 🎉🎉🎉
This looks like a potential next guest of taker podcast ❤
Brad Gilmore used to really put that s#*t on!! Suit game was crazy!
Two goats…💯
Greetings from Brazil!! Taker is so good at telling og storys
The thing about the dismissal of “flippy floppy” wrestlers is that you’ve had flyers for decades. Hell, lucha is built on it. And Taker and Book were smack dab in the era and worked programs with guys like the Hardyz. From Jimmy Snuka to the Macho Man now to guys like Ricochet and Ospreay, it’s just one style of wrestling. Some people hate hardcore wrestling; some people hate pure technical work. The beauty of the game is that there’s a style and story for everybody.
they aren't hating it. they are saying to save it for when it counts, in order to save their body rather than just doing 5 crazy spots every single week for no reason in random matches because that is going to destroy their body, career, and future.
Hardyz style is very different from Osprey or Rico because they relied on simple but impactful high flying moves
As a Houston guy myself I can relax
I think everybody here is avoiding the elephant in the room: the takeArooni
Two of my childhood heros
A perfect example of selling a match without crazy over the top moves was Hogan vs The Rock at Wrestlemania X8. It was a clinic how to put on a show.
Awesome
Two of my favorite professional wrestlers #1 and #2 and yes I’m biased both are from Houston
Wrestling now sucks man I’m sry. I’ll watch reruns and the greats like Booker and Taker talk wrestling all day!

Great conversation.
The 5x definitely one of the 🐐's

Dang I didn't want this 1 to end
Love Undertaker and Booker T, but I have to disagree with the take on the new generation taking more risks..when the older gen took more risks than anyone today. Blood was allowed in the attitude era, and was frequently used, multiple chair headshots, concussions, even the whole Benoit ordeal. Talent used to work whether injured or not cause there were little to no medical protocols, TLC started in that era and they had some of the riskiest wrestling spots till date. Undertaker himself threw Mic Foley of a 20foot+ cage, then through the cage to the ring almost breaking his neck, threw Rikishi of the cage to a truck, threw Edge from the top of a ladder through the ring for an inferno spot, then threw Shane off a hell in a cell cage at mania, and was a 7-foot 300+ pound guy, who used to walk tight on the ropes, and suicide dive off from the top to the ground in more matches than he clearly remembers, something he almost broke his neck for when wrestling Shawn at WM25. Its honestly quite hypocritical to be condemning the new era for being too risky, when you guys are the ones who set that tone to begin with. Main event stars will always not need to do much cause they're already over, but don't forget the guys who risked so much to make you look as good.
booker t looks fuckin great. good to see.
i only watch old WWF
42:30 The reversal Tombstone story 😂😂😂😂
Greatness personified.
two legends'
Booker T is aging so well, he still looks like he can have a run and another 150 matches
Hello from Indonesia 🇮🇩🇮🇩
Amazing!!

I love debussy
This is awesome
STORY TELLING IS 🗝,
Great video
BT man, cool cat by definition according to Websters🤙🤙
1:38 Man himself sums it allllll up right there. It's why before 2018 lets say was pretty good due to its story-telling to capture our emotions and attach ourselves to certain superstars based on what we saw and witnessed from them. Just cant watch WWE religiously like we used to and that plainly sucks! I miss it
Most of the top guys today still rely on story. Cody, Roman, Punk, McIntyre, sheamus, Orton, Cena, LA Knight, Gunther all rely on storytelling on the mat
@@varunpadalkar 5/6 of those guys are from previous era. So they would already know about in-ring story telling. And when paired with one another in a match do a good job. I, like Taker, was just talking about newer talent.
💯💯💯
Perfect
Gunther is the next big thing!
For sure. Especially since they have him getting the reps in with mic time.
I felt bad when El Campeon was defeited, he was so edgy as a Champion(and still), love his promos and the story with the JD made Hella fun🔥.
Gunther might be a throwback and all but he by himself... those promos be lacking. I mean, Carlitos Colon did The Sleeper 4CAL back in the 80's. And Booker T said it 2 years ago it wasn't as cool as now, HHH, The Bloodline on Smackdown and Judgement Day on RAW might be a good reason why.
Wow. Started off hot with a nuanced critique on modern wrestling. Love it.
Taker is right about wwe story fighting in the ring
I wish they discussed about spinaroonie that everyone tried Taker to do but he wouldn't do it at all. Even with Vince coming out and doing one
"TAKER-roonie" 👀
I'm sorry folks but wrestling just isn't the same without these guys a part of it anymore. I still watch the business and have for the past 40yrs. Yeah that's a LONG time and i've seen A LOT of changes in that time. But these two gentlemen right here is what really got me invested. I've done promotional marketing for a local indy fed i've worked for off and on. So you could said i've been "IN" the business to a degree. Or at least know a lot about it and what goes on behind the curtain. But these two are truly gifted in their craft and what they brought out of their characters. Taker speaks for itself in terms of what we all know he accomplished. But Booker my god his vignettes with Austin and Goldust were just classic art being performed. Many times i'd tune in just to see those guys do their skits together and forget about the wrestling. Thank you to BOTH gentlemen for leaving me with priceless memories. And i do agree with them the talent today is good but they need to slow it down an tell stories again. Make those big moves special and worth the fans anticipation of seeing them. They'll mean a helluva a lot more when they look back on those matches later on in life.
Undertaker is the real face of wwe, but Vince wanted guys like Cena or before him Austin and Rock be the top guys in the WWE therefore they been the face of the company.
2 of the greatest to ever do it!
Nice
I see Booker T and not Matt instant like
SHOOP!!!
Did Booker T rent out the same space?
Ok I know this isn’t technically the Six Feet Under podcast but where is Matt? It just feels weird seeing somebody sitting in his chair lol…. I’ve come to expect Matt on this set…. Matt if you read this don’t let it blow your head up too big lmao 🤣
Crazy to think that booker is older then undertaker.
Booker t born March 1st 1965 Undertaker born March 24 1965
Undertaker isn't lying about wrestling smaller guys and appreciating selling leg locks, the first time I witness him sell leg lock Besides, Bret Hart was backlash of 99 when he went against Ken Shamrock and beat Ken Shamrock, which was great but shamrock didn't number on him and taker sold the hell out of that match
5:57 💡
Still waiting for that takerooni
Booker T won 6 times? Damn I didn't realize
AARON what's the book of Brad Gilmore what up Turks get you something.
I hope AEW talent were watching the first couple of minutes of this video.
It baffles me that wrestlers aren’t in the screen actors guild (sag) and the writers not in the writers guild??
AEW purists will disagree with Taker and Booker.
They will insist that wrestling is all about wrestling and not about story telling 😅
Nope watching AEW since day 1 and IMO storytelling> wrestling. That's what made the Hangman Page story to world champ so great. Wrestling is good too but too over reliant.
Viva la Plaidnation
Clicking on this confused the out of me booker t podcast or six feet?
Story tell over if your best in the ring
Here until football perfect
Undertaker is huge he makes Booker t looks small 😂😂😂😂😂
7:10 Totally disagree with Booker. Roman has not had a long stretch of making guys look better!!!!! If anything hes worked to bury guys in the ring, part of what got him over.
I guess they aren't allowed to mention Vince.
Wheres the guy that sounds like nick swardson?
the hall of fame taking over six feet under pod cast studio ..WTF
Dibbert Ford
Kind of a myopic view. The business is bigger than it was with them because of the new moves.
How to see you take out the Royal rumble in 2025 play hope to see in WrestleMania 41
