Best offensive off-ball movement in Lacrosse I've ever seen. They should show the basketball team how to do it. The ACC teams all look familiar, not a lot of off-ball movement so they're not used to seeing Maryland's style. After watching the bracket games, Rutgers and Hopkins are just as good as the top ACC teams. Hopkins just needed time for the young players to mature. What shocked me about the Selection Committee was they not only dismissed the undefeated season, they obviously overlooked Maryland's style of play, which set them apart. For the Terps, just as impressive is the one-on-one defense by both the midfielders and close defense. It's always easy to see the top teams in Lacrosse by just looking at those teams that don't get beat often on one-on-one match-ups and/or know how to slide.
As a fan of the game, and MD, this was awesome. To me, the terps play as a team, they're hustling, unselfish, and showing up on defense. It's a joy to watch. I am happy to see them take on Va because a bad call got Va past them in the last tournament.
And UVA had a goal with too many men on the field. The point is.. UVA won the game with the worst..most obvious .. ridiculous.. illogical...wrong on purpose..non goal in history. If pipe missed counted then UMD had 3 more goals today.

1st of all the Bernhardt goal when he was so quick to the ball scooped it in the Duke Coach just rolled his eyelid up in the air was sic .. McNaney LIGHTS OUT in Goal .. this Team runs, passes and shoots plays Lacrosse the way it is supposed to be played credit to the unselfish John Tillman system .. the Selection Committee got it wrong and should be fired but the Bookies had it right #3 Maryland was the favorite against #2 Duke -155 / +140 .. they got to Championship weekend by beating the #6 Team at their home field .. Selection really wanted an All ACC Final Four .. anyways we now get a rematch of the 2019 game which was won on a terrible call .. GO TERPS
I know there were a few rule changes, but are defense players not allowed to body check anymore? Doesn't seem like they're playing as aggressive as they used to.
Maryland coming off Overtime Win vs Notre Dame. They blowout #2 seeded Duke Blue Devils 14-05. Terps will play for National Championship vs (2019) defending champion Virginia Cavs.
