It’s been a while since I’ve tuned into this channel (busy new dad). When did Josh learn to throw 400+?? And 500’ air shots with 600’ rollers? What happened? Are you guys taking some kind of secret sauce? I’m so excited to see this. Made my day.
Loved the radar speeds! Once shops start setting up radar speed stations and also Tech disc stations I think people will start making disc selections based on how fast they are throwing a disc.
It's crazy how much flippier my one Honey is compared to the newest one I just got. The PLH is way different. One flies like a Mamba and the other like a seasoned Destroyer. They both bomb though.
Bro throws better than me left handed 😭. Jokes aside ive been playing disc golf for 2 months not consistently, and my average throw is 300ft. I can get up to 320 if i absolutely get ahold of it. Im starting to be able to get a full flight out of flippy distance drivers. My main is a lattitude bolt but it can get too flippy on me at times. The wild honey looks like a perfect straight flying driver for me so i cant wait till i get my hands on one.
Ok so I’m a little lost. With my techdisc I’m averaging 63mph, and topping out around 67mph. In the field I’m right around 400, with the 420 flat being my max so far. My nose (usually positive) and launch (usually slightly negative) have to be the main culprits, and turning the key isn’t helping me much. Do I just suck beyond repair?
@@OverthrowDiscGolf 🙌🙌🙌 and with that, I’m off to the garage for some more fine tuning. Hey, aside from your form reviews on Patreon, do you guys plan on having any in-person clinics or one-on-one offers for those close to your area? I’m about an hour or so away, in NC, and would be more than happy to pay for something more personalized

With positive nose angle and negative launch angle you're throwing an air bounce shot. They look cool, but you're destroying your distance by throwing this away because the air bounce is nothing but added drag early in the disc's flight which quickly scrubs speed off the throw. Honestly it's incredible you can throw 420 feet this way, which is a testament to how much power you have. So don't get discouraged, get excited, because you're close to being an absolute bomber. Get the nose down and the throwing plane up and you'll be throwing 450+ easy and pushing 500 depending on the line and disc.
We try to throw the disc how we actually would use it and if I’m throwing it flat on the course it’s gonna be high mostly to prevent cut rolling away unless it’s downhill

That pocket radar really gives an informative and cool touch to this. And nice editing!

Congrats on the new dad life. I’ve got three myself. We’re gonna disc later today actually.
Great review. Heal up Dakota!
Request for showing both feet an meters next video
You had me at "request for showing both feet."
@@eoghana315 I don't judge
❤ Dakota. Solid review, I know more about that disc than I did 11 minutes ago.
Honey have you seen my Honey?
Nice distances bro!
The disc goes far
@@OverthrowDiscGolfHow long have you been playing and what are your tips for throwing further?

Love the honey and In have a slower arm speed, but works well, love it's flight!
love this video. Great work!
sick editing!
I have one wild honey. It's crazy flippy. Good for rollers, uphill tail wind shots. I will have look at this latest run.
@OverthrowDiscGolf will you guys restock on the custom OT stamp for the wild honey?
I don’t imagine we will anytime soon
Great video 📸

Almost had to buy five of them. Might get two anyway, airball consolation....
Which color is more understable?
The light blues were the understable ones in our run

My longest drive ever was 295 feet with a kastaplast falk. Is this disc a good disc to get more distance with?
Mmmmm. Unsure but this probably wouldn’t be the farthest flying disc you could buy
I'd love the ones with the massive dome to them.
It is ultra flippy
@OverthrowDiscGolf more than the rest huh?
@@mattlance4272 it was like throwing a hades
Loved the honey but after 2 months it turned into a roller disc. No matter how much hyzer I put it on, it turns and burns.
Ahhhh. Ours started out more stable than stock runs
Must have missed the explanation; is the image reversed on the first set of throws? (Lefty)
It is. For continuity

Do you suck beyond repair? No. You just haven’t fixed your nose and launch yet.

Y'all throw really high for "flat". Is that recommended?
