Great video Alan and good to see what we missed in August, planned to camp up there but weather turned bad which wasn't forecast so had to abandon that idea, got a cracked windscreen on the drive there and bits of stuff ripped off the bottom of the car. Still good to summit the most Northerly Munro and one I wont forget in a hurry. As always enjoyed your fine video. Take care. Mick
Thanks Mick i hope you enjoyed the views and it made up for destroying youre car👍
It would be a great place for wild camping so i hope IF you go back you get the weather like i did
Thanks again for watching Mick

Looked just great Alan. Great stuff :)
A nice distraction to have Alan them waterfalls. The river below looked chock full but beautiful winding its way through the valleys. I have to agree you were fortunate for once with the weather. Rare for you Alan! Great views though mate. Love your vibe - it's always fun and playful. Good going up there. Mark
As always nice to hear from you Mark hope you're well and enjoying the outdoors. The rivers were full from 2 days of solid rain so yeah I was lucky for a change with the weather and the views well you saw for yourself absolutely stunning.

I really enjoyed that, especially since I won't be doing it myself. Incredibly, I've never seen these views of N. Scotland ever before. I follow you on the map (you give good indications) - the watercourse in the valley is the River Strathmore.
Hiya thanks I'm really pleased you enjoyed the video and the views. A lovely mountain and most northern Munro.in Scotland.Very well spotted on the map the river strathmore (a beautiful burn) A steep path to start the climb and its great that you can follow the route on the map 👍 Really appreciate you watching ...many thanks again Alan Gregory adventures

Great blog Alan thanks, I looked for the car park and path on the OS map and couldn’t find it - could you give me the grid ref for car park please and if possible the route
Thanks Tommy 😊
Much appreciated.
There's a little parking at these coordinates. NC 46136 47586
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment
Look for ruined Broch on left-hand side, cross difficult bridge, look right, the parking is quite spacious, difficult to miss.
I read that the sun does not set on the summit of Ben Hope on the longest day. Don't believe it. But I am sure one can still read a newspaper at one O'clock in the morning.
Good day for it!
Cheers Gareth yeah lucky with weather up there as day after it rained all day.
Cheers for watching ATB ALAN GREGORY
