Take 6 is absolutely spectacular! All those other 'boy' bands are literally BOYS next them. They cannot even approach their level of musical excellent. They make me quite proud.
I grew up on these guys and they are the best to ever do it acapella. Period.

The key change down twice at the end was what made me poop my pants! My sister lived in Huntsville (where I believe they're from) and gave me their first album, the year it came out. I was working on my music degree in Jacksonville (a small college town also in Alabama) at the time and couldn't listen to it enough times! Incredible!

They were just in the bay area and I missed them. I'm practically in tears over it. One day I know I will see them live again.
I was lucky enough to see them on their first national tour way back when, needless to say, they blew the place up! An amazing group that set the standard for acapella singing that has never been matched.

@moviemogul83 I have to say that on THIS particular performance, Mark kind of jacked them up by that whole key-changing thing and they had to find the new key (quite unexpectedly) which threw them off a bit and affected their performance.

I believe Cedric is baritone . Alvin bass , Claude 1st tenor , mark and merv are 2nd tenors , David contralto
I'd prefer it if when the song ends, they'd stop. The everlong reprise thing is a bit annoying & wearing on a body. And then after all that, it gets cut off at the end (like it was at the beginning) and you don't get to hear the audience's appreciation. Not happy with this vid, sry.
