I like this video a lot. My bird stopped being as interested in the SFS and pellets as he used to be. We ended up moving at that time and he immediately started being really interested in the SFS and pellets again! I will say he is prone to being a picky eater at times but when I try to change his environment or try fun SFS recipes to get him interested, it does work. Diet can be tricky for these birds but it’s very worth the extra effort to get them eating what they’re supposed to. I liked seeing what you were feeding Ava and how you went about this whole process (including the move). I also really like your aviary!
I brought my rescued IRN that h a d only seed. I had fresh mix already and sprinkled the seed on top. he got a little fresh with every bite .Within a week he was totally on fresh every morning. He was a good boy.
I wach you'r videos and I got tow budggie and cockatiels. My cockatiels come from terible in virement but in 2 weeks I got some trust scratch on her... thank you for you'r help... BDW Im from Lithuania :)
thank you! I have a question-how to give a parrot medicine, if he does not agree to take it from a syringe, and is it a good idea to teach him to eat from a syringe, for example porridge, so that if necessary, you could add it to the porridge medicine?
how does a new bird owner know if a large bird (like Ava) will not bite when you want to give her a kiss on the beak like in this video? what tips do you have? thanks so much! Debra 🙂
That just takes getting to know one another over time. I wouldn't do that with all the birds in my flock (thinking about my current project lovebird Monet... lol)

I have my three bidgies and cannot get them off seed mix. thankfully I use your recommendation when I can but they really are stubborn.
