I like to keep a few zip ties in the backpack along with the local maps in a ziplock bag just in case.
I can't imagine riding without good gloves. To me they are almost as essential as a helmet.
I would take a tyre puncture repair kit aswell

If you are driving take a track pump for the car park, as well the pump you ride with.
I once turned up to my local trails having forgotten my front wheel... not my finest hour.

@@gmbn I'm using them right now because I got new brakes and they didn't fit so I used zip ties to hold in place
I keep some in my bottom bracket, mostly used it to hold cables into the frame
