I made a mistake during this tutorial and used Rocket League as an example of PS Plus working with the alternate account. Rocket League does not require PS Plus to go online so my "proof" of functioning PS Plus wasn't a really good example. That being said, everything in this tutorial still works and will let you share PS Plus with other users and consoles. I apologize for the mistake and confusion.
This worked for me I needed to share my ps plus with my son. I logged into his ps5 and signed in with my details then transferred all my games to his console on a hard drive. All done and he’s up and running 👌 thanks for the content.

As long your using the same console with the other different accounts you shouldn’t have a problem playing on any account with the plus extra games or premium as long the account that has extra or premium is on that console I never heard of you need to share the account if the accounts are logged in you shouldn’t have a problem but if you don’t have any accounts on that console you put them on a different console then you might have a problem with sharing the games I have a Chinese Japanese account cause I bought Japanese games and one Chinese game my main account is the American that’s the one that I pay for

Just for clarification -- Once I've made my account primary on my friends account, and he logs in under his own profile can we play different games online at the same time with my PS+ subscription, i.e. I play CoD multiplayer online on my PS5 while he plays GTA or some other multiplayer game online on his PS5? U can still do it guys.. Basically, if the primary PS is on ur friend PS5, u can only play on your account on ur PS5 right? Not ur second account(if u need sec acc) Now, on ur PS5, enable console share, and jump on to ur second account, after that, stay on ur second account, while ur friend, enable it again on their PS5, u can enjoy ps plus game, playing on ur sec acc(dont jump out from that acc, or when u comeback, the game back to being lock.. can work both ways. yes you can share ps+ games and all games that you own on your account. for Ps+ games (and all games on your account) he just needs to go into your account on his console and just look for games and download them. then he just switches to his account and play them. your friend can download any game he wants on his console and you don't need to have it on your console.

You can share your benefits on two PS4s while at the same time sharing on two PS5s. Not sure about the accounts, although since they are in the same region of the world it shouldn't matter
You can share between two consoles total. All the users on the PS5 with console sharing enabled will have access to the shared games. Only the user that owns the games will have access to them on the PS5 without console sharing
No you would have to cancel the membership on the first account and subscribe on the second account. There is no way that i know of to transfer a PS plus membership from one account to another

Yes whatever console your user is logged into with console sharing enabled will get access to your games and PS5 across all users. You can only have one console with sharing enabled so the other users on your console and any other consoles you log into will not get your games. Only your user will have access to them
Yes there is a way. Remember that PS Plus is tied to your PSN account and not to the console. So if you sign into a PS4 with your account that has PS Plus you can activate the console as primary and give all other users on the console PS Plus. It has to be a separate account/user playing the shared game. You can't be logged in with the same user on two PS5s

Note: i cant access to games i've downloaded with plus in the main account(which does not has ps plus rn) but i can play new ps plus games i've downloaded with the account that has ps plus now.

@@omarhamdan8428 having same issue, got 2 accounts, account 1 "old PSN" has ps+ games most locked but can't play, I've done all the primary account/enable/restore license etc because I can play recent games on account 1 that I've brought on account 2 "active PSN" so it's just locked ps+ games it's stupid, have you found a solution yet?

Just for clarification -- Once I've made my account primary on my friends account, and he logs in under his own profile can we play different games online at the same time with my PS+ subscription, i.e. I play CoD multiplayer online on my PS5 while he plays GTA or some other multiplayer game online on his PS5? This would avoid requiring both of us to purchase PS+ subscriptions. Thanks for any insight you can share.
Yes you are correct. As long as you are using separate accounts you can both play games, online or offline, at the same time.

My son's have a PS5 each. They had ps plus and were able to share this subscription fine. This ended so I got them ps plus extra and now it won't let them share it. What's going on? Please help. Thanks
I've heard of this happening before. Try signing out and back in on both consoles and redo the process for PS Plus sharing

My wife and I just got our second PS5 and want to move between who plays each ps5 freely. It looks like
A) we will have to enable /disable sharing depending on where she is playing (all the games are under my account)
B) she will need to pay for PS+ if she wants to continue her games from the original PS5 since only my account has cloud storage.

Basically, if the primary PS is on ur friend PS5, u can only play on your account on ur PS5 right? Not ur second account(if u need sec acc)
Now, on ur PS5, enable console share, and jump on to ur second account, after that, stay on ur second account, while ur friend, enable it again on their PS5, u can enjoy ps plus game, playing on ur sec acc(dont jump out from that acc, or when u comeback, the game back to being lock.. can work both ways.

No, can't share ps+ games, only multiplayer working.
yes you can share ps+ games and all games that you own on your account. for Ps+ games (and all games on your account) he just needs to go into your account on his console and just look for games and download them. then he just switches to his account and play them. your friend can download any game he wants on his console and you don't need to have it on your console.

Ok as of April 2024 🎉 is working! Like he said I can only see the games I have downloaded into the ps5 (main account/psplus) all my ps+ list games are hidden but I can play online no problem

You can share your benefits on two PS4s while at the same time sharing on two PS5s. Not sure about the accounts, although since they are in the same region of the world it shouldn't matter

You can share between two consoles total. All the users on the PS5 with console sharing enabled will have access to the shared games. Only the user that owns the games will have access to them on the PS5 without console sharing

Is a a way to make the 2nd account the primary one and completely take the ps+ on that 2nd account? So you have the ps + logo on the second account?
No you would have to cancel the membership on the first account and subscribe on the second account. There is no way that i know of to transfer a PS plus membership from one account to another

Yes whatever console your user is logged into with console sharing enabled will get access to your games and PS5 across all users. You can only have one console with sharing enabled so the other users on your console and any other consoles you log into will not get your games. Only your user will have access to them

Yes there is a way. Remember that PS Plus is tied to your PSN account and not to the console. So if you sign into a PS4 with your account that has PS Plus you can activate the console as primary and give all other users on the console PS Plus.
