The use of firearms makes a lot of sense. When people hear gunfire, they almost immediately start to panic. Panic clouds judgement and reasoning, resulting in the perfect cover for a ninja to carry out their task.
Also in terms of sniping (not in Borderlands, but real life), the rifles are typically shot from large distances sometimes going over a mile, and due to the power of the weapon, there are time when your target is dead before their friends even hear the shot. Combine that with knowing the land, staying in shadows, and working in teams, snipers are already pretty ninja. Borderlands just one ups it a bit.
PetraTEM/ The Emerald Minecart The longest recorded sniper kill was recorded in 2009 at 2,475 meters, or about a mile and a half. This coupled with the speed of your average sniper bullet being between 800 and 1000 meters per second, with the speed of sound being 343 m/s, means that the bullet would definitely hit before the sound was ever heard.
Kinda disappointed that you never went in depth about how Zero isn't his real name, that he never shows his face, and that nobody knows a THING about his past or if he's even human. These are all things you stated are good and accurate qualities of a ninja.
He may have chosen to ignore it simply because he's stated these things in the past. He isn't exactly getting new viewers, and people that keep up with the show would probably know that. Why bother repetition, after all.
Considering he likely would have heard stories of the dangers of Pandora, he's likely there just for a challenge and eventually became bored of the easy to kill bandits and Pandoran creatures. That's when he eventually was told of the Vault and he took up Vault Hunting as a new challenge in hopes that it would be worthy of his skills.
His guest said the line "and even to this day we're still not entirely sure who Zero really is" in the opening descriptor for Zero. That kind of covers what you're looking for. After all, we don't need to hear the same introduction to all these Ninja about how mysterious their identities are.
Could have at least played some fragment from his echos: Jack: "So what's this Zero guy doing on Pandora in the first place?" Angel: "I dunno." Jack: "Angel, you've got a brain the size of a planet. Don't give me 'I dunno.'" Angel: "From what footage we have of him, I can't even tell if Zero's human or not." Jack: "W-w-what do you mean, not human? Is he a robot? An alien? What?" Angel: "I dunno."
Well, apart from his sniping tree he also has one devoted to melee - more importantly backstabbing. Plant a clone, cloak, backstab and if that killed them, receive huge buffs and move on to do that a couple more times until your cloak runs out. And his third tree isn't any less ninja. It utilizes various tricks - most of which are classic ninja skills like the mentioned poisoned kunai or his decoy exploding - to encourage a playstyle that relies on ambushing the enemy and focusing them down one at a time. Plus he even has a role as information gatherer (at least for newer players) since his sniper tree's B0re skill highlights enemies' crit spots - probably the most important info in a game about shooting stuff.
i always went with a blue/red build, insane elemental and crit damage without having to worry about lining up perfect headshots. kunai cloak backstab kunai cloak repeat
as a Bl2 Zer0 fan, I was happy that he was a real historically accurate ninja, I secretly knew that Zer0 was one but there was a hint of doubt because Zer0 use guns. *sobs* thank you
I would like you to do a review on Agent 47 from the hitman series. I know he isn't a real ninja, but the way he uses stealth, costumes, silenced weapons, and melee weapons to eliminate his target in public seem like something modern ninja would utilize.
He would count rather well as a ninja. His design of simply being bald is not noteworthy enough in reality to draw attention, he is versed with any weapon. Hell we see in the newest game especially that he can even (whether through bluffing or actual knowledge) blend in as a runway model, military guard, janitor, mannequin displays, etc... He would fit perfectly as a ninja who just doesn't actually call himself a ninja.
Very interesting and educational! As a self-proclaimed ninja fanatic, I do believe I'll be a regular customer in this channel. :D Thanks for yet another great video, Joey and Gaijin! ^_^
That was kinda underwhelming. You didn't talk about Zero's skills like the back slash that hurts enemies more from behind, or the fact that his damage buffs mostly increase his critical hits so that he only deals killing blows rather than regular damage. You also didn't talk much about his origin mystery or his personality. He has 4 fingers for instance, so he might not be human. Early trailers had him with a female voice. The speeches he says, the story of why he went on a treasure hunt. There's so much going on for him.
I want to say that these Which Ninja videos have been a real inspiration for me. I'm an amateur fantasy writer and one of my characters, though never referred to as a ninja in the story itself, is essentially a ninja. I've been using these videos to add a touch of authenticity in a world of wizards and warriors, and this video in particular gave me a terrific idea for potential character development.
There is a case to be made that she attempts to emulate the tactics of the kunoichi - namely using her sexuality as a form of subterfuge. Also, her use of poison-filled syringes mirrors the use of toxins on shuriken. But overall, her overreliance on direct combat over stealth makes her a pretty terrible shinobi. What's more, we see her unmask quite frequently revealing that she has several scars that make her easily identifiable. Remember rule number one from the Speed-O'-Sound Sonic episode: DON'T. GET. CAUGHT. Rule of thumb: most fighting game ninja are terrible at their job (looking at you, Ibuki).
But most appearances of valentine is when she is forced to combat her opponents in hand to hand combat. Granted it's a fighting game and she is pretty aggressive, but she even was part of a task force. There's more to what we only see. And plus, you can't really trust character portraits, you know the character might obviously be in a different pose, but you know. Limitations. It's for Gaijin to talk about but it's something to note. Note about fighting games: Of course ninjas are gonna be terrible at their actual job. But that doesn't stop them from being awesome.
sporekid2002isaiah Granted that her job to track and observe targets for Braindrain falls in line with how Shinobi were supposed to be utilized, but she almost always directly confronts her target should they prove suitable. A smart Ninja would load one of those oddly aerodynamic syringes with a paralyitic toxin and bring them in alive with minimal fuss.
Dang, that's cool. Also, does this mean that someone wanting to show what a modern day ninja would be like in combat should consider a bit more of a firearm emphasis considering the advancement of technology?
Great video Gaijin, I have always wondered why a character that clearly screamed ninja was using guns and had a entire skill tree around sniping. Now that I know that entire reason and story behind it I feel like playing BL2 again but as Zer0 I just have one question.....when is the Scorpion and Shirai Ryu focused episode because I cant wait for that one but no rush mate :-)

W.D Gaster actually, with a full sniper, you wouldn't need a silencer, because you can be far enough away that the sound won't travel. Now, a pistol with a silencer would be almost certain for close up missions
With the range of some modern sniper rifles, you don't need a suppresser. By the time the bullet hits, you'll either be moving or lining up the next shot.
Such a great character. There's just so much that's interesting about him. The haiku speech is easily one of the most unique characteristics I've ever seen on a character.
He falls more to the misrepresentation of a ninja then an actual ninja with his kit being more about killing then anything else. His invis is the worst of the three with Loki have more duration and Ivara just being indefinite (among other things) and his noteworthy abilities are about killing.
Well they use plenty of ninja weapons, chain weapons, sai, short swords, bows, arrows, guns, and even the exaggerated ones like katanas and kunai and shuriken. They are trained in many combat styles, are stealthy, fast, and are good at infiltrating enemy bases to steal info, sabotage ships, misdirect them, performing rescues and captures, and more. And when cornered a warframe more then defiantly has the tools to escape or fight depending on what is needed. And as you can change their colors they can definitely be deep blue or even black, same for all their weapons. You even get affinity bonuses for stealth take downs
All of this is true in lore but in gameplay it's a different story as most are best played as aggressively and loud as possible (Mesa, Excal, Rhino, Ember etc...) I listed the ones I did mostly because they are the only ones that actually do better when being tactical then just being offensive.
I was really wanting to see what your opinion would be of Koga from Paladins but I think between this video and the comments on Road hog from the Genji video your opinion would probably rather favorable also the discussion would probably retread already tread territory. Great video I'm hoping to eventually become a patreon in the near future I've been loving your videos so far
Wow, the timing of this video is great! No, I'm not being ironic, I just started playing Borderlands 2 again yesterday, and, in my first playthrough I played as Zer0.
I love using the I infinity pistol with one of the Zer0 abilities I can't remember, but it makes the first bullet in the magazine do extra damage. Well look at that, the infinity pistol is always shooting it's first bullet so it always does extra damage.
I found Zer0 so cool when first playing BL2. His calm, sadistic-sounding oneliners when killing targets sometimes are glorious. Reminds me of Jhin from League of Legends, or no. Jhin reminds me of Zer0, Zer0 was first.
Whoa-ho-ho! This is pretty cool, explaining why Zer0 rightfully deserves his place in the intro for this series. And finding out about the Hyukuningumi and modern reenactments in Tokyo definitely gives me a thing to mark on an Edo-period Japan tour. I know Hanzo and Genji have been explained in other videos in the Overwatch video series, so it will be interesting to see entries like Yuffie and the spazzing ninja.
Something that I think is very interesting about Zero is that after all this time there still isn’t much information about Zero. No one knows anything about him because he’s such badass ninja. He is a mystery, and that is his most effective weapon!
My first borderlands character. I loved it when my pals, gunzerker and soldier died over and over, and I just sat there, one, two, three... sixteen, seventeen...
Zenjubo's story is so extremely interesting, it's such a shame it doesn't have much mainstream exposure. Being more well known would even dispel many ninja myths, if you ask me.
what a great collab so few people talk about how guns influenced the ninja and vice versa this was truly a great watch now if you'll excuse me I have an anime man video to watch
I thoroughly enjoy the melee route of zero. When done right, you can weaponize the layout, swiftly take down nearly every enemy in a manner of moments, and despite how trigger happy the ai is, yes! It is possible to do this in some areas without getting detected! You have to make your own opportunities for it though.
I had heard Zenjubo actually fired (and hit) two shots at Oda Nobunaga. He always carried multiple rifles and pistols so he could fire multiple shots without having to reload. He was also known to have rigged guns to fire on their own as either a distraction or to cause confusion as to the number of attackers.
+Sherlock Investigates Japan the research I have said one, but it's not worth getting into a debate about it. The point I wanted to make was the sniping attempt.
Also from a technological stand point a sniper rifle would be a ninja weapon because it's quick it effective it can be silent and the long range nature of the weapon can make it easier to escape.
So, inspired by this video, and being a pretty regular player of Warframe (I already know you've played it, so I'll leave that dead horse alone), I decided to take my existing Ash build (And by 'my' I mean 'Qynchou's'), and mix up the weapons a bit. Now running with Ash Prime (The Gold-Trimmed Ninja-themed Ninja in a game about space ninja wizards.), Vectis Prime (One of the top sniper rifles in the game), Despair (Stalker's Throwing Knives, just to hold off until I get Hikou Prime, the proper Shuriken), and Nikana Prime (IE, a stolen Samurai Blade, and my Bladestorm Stat-stick. I also use Mios as my Kusarigama stand-in on occasion.) I must say, it went better than expected. Ash's one, the Shuriken, with the armor-strip augment, softens up targets so that the Sniper Rifle can gun them down. And it works over a surprisingly high range. His smokebomb helps disperse aggro when re-positioning. It's got a negative duration, but you move fast enough in Warframe that having five seconds to re-position is more than enough, and you can always recast. Teleport (With the Fatal Teleport Augment) helps catch up to party members or help take out lone targets without using your sniper rifle and drawing a bunch of attention, so long as you have someone in range to teleport to. And Bladestorm (Shadow Clones) with it's recent rework lets you send an army of clones after crowds in case you're not killing fast enough with your sniper rifle alone, without having to completely re-position yourself. I brought Ash out onto the plains with this setup, and it's surprisingly fun and effective. (Especially when you've got a Frost using his snowglobe to keep the defense target, and by extension, you from taking unneeded damage.) I may create a tweaked build that gives a little extra range and duration, so that fatal teleport and Bladestorm reach out to a more sniper-appropriate distance, and the duration for some extra time on the smokebomb for speeding to the end of a level. It's fun, and I'll probably be running this setup for a while. At least until I get curious about Atlas' rework.
I do like that you actually have to use his tools LIKE A NINJA in order to be any good with Zer0, his Deception is a mostly defense tool but can also be used for Offense, you have to wait for the deception to be close to wearing off to deal maximum damage, just like a ninja preparing and waiting for the best moment to strike. There is also skills that help with back stabs, crits, and lots of other things. The Best Part? I didn't even realize I was thinking like a ninja when I was using Zer0, I just know you CANNOT just charge in to a fight with Zer0, he will get destroyed....which is another Ninja thing about him actually. He has virtually no health, shield, or damage resistance skills. He is one of the most squishy Vault Hunters in the game, which is just like a real Ninja, since they don't wear much armor and therefore, can't take much abuse. Which does tie back into his deception ability, which is REALLY useful for falling back when you are taking too much damage and regain your shield while they fire at a decoy. Zer0 is honestly one of the most fun ninjas to use.
I have a feeling that Zer0 is an alien of some kind, his head has a weird shape (though that could be just his helmet) and he has three fingers on each hand
I don't have the money for it, but I was thinking of buying the $60 Patreon thing so I could get some stuff down for an idea I had. Pretty much I want to make an indie game in which you play as a ninja, but historically accurate, and getting to talk to goomba himself would be really useful seeing as basically everything I know about ninja I learned from watching his videos, added to the fact that I can hold on to this information and write notes faster by listening to someone talking and having a full conversation about it. The unfortunate part is the fact that the $60 package is sold out. I suppose it's for the betterment of my wallet as I save up for a computer that can even handle Skype and find the time between the computer courses and studying I have to do for grade 12 to make it into a viable college program for the field. All I know is once I have those notes down, I'm set, I don't need a college degree to make the game, it just helps
I'm starting to think that some of my ideas for Chinmoku (a character from a story I'm writing) aren't all that odd. Although he's technically a mage, he still uses his magic to supplement his skills and is originally an umbramancer (a mage specializing in shadow magic). Over the course of the story he learns some light magic to create illusions and be able to turn himself invisible, but even learns sign language specifically to use incantations without saying a word, (hence his name, "chinmoku" means "silence"). I probably could have gone with hand signs, except I barely even know what those hand signs are, and there's only nine of them, not to mention the way spells work in the series involved having a good command of language and a good imagination, among other things, to make the most of it.
I have a theory about Zer0 that he's Atlas tech infused with Eridian tech with the frame and the data of the Lance Assasin's (a group of skilled female Assasin's) and the guardians (that protect the vaults) and that he was to assist in the Gortys Project to counter the Travelers teleportation ability. Until Atlas went under and Zer0's programs were uncompleted except to find a challenge which led him to the vault in Borderlands 2.
How about Agent 47, an assassin who (canonicly) not only kills only his targets, while staying undetected, but can utilize enviroment to make it look like accident?
You should come back to Borderlands as in Borderlands 3, not only does Zer0 return as an Atlas assassin, but the DLC "Blood for a Stone" is based around traditional Japanese structures and people mixed with classic western cowboy stuff. I would find it epic if you tried to see if the "Belik" from this DLC was based on any real Yokai and not some generic alien.
You know I just remembered that in Sekiro the model used to get the flamethrower prosthetic is a nigiri teppo which is kinda weird tbh like yea I know why they used it but I find it weird that they would use a single shot hidden pistol as the model
He should do the Wraith from Evolve. Hear me out. She sneaks about camouflaged, uses a decoy so she can escape, uses her environment to her advantage and can take out individual targets without the others knowing till it's too late. I admit shes a bit of a stretch but I think shes still worth a thorough review.
I was actually planning on making this video a while back, trying to answer Zero’s true identity. I was gonna point out how Nobunaga, the Daimyo who wanted to unify all of Japan by killing every ninja and their affiliated clans, is similar to Handsome Jack, who was a corporate leader of Hyperion who wanted to unify all of Pandora by killing off all the bandits and vault-hunters. I was also going to explain why Zero doesn’t run out of breath when he sprints. There was an old technique where a ninja would insert a pickled plum in their naval which apparently prevents fatigue.
I think what makes Zer0 such a perfect ninja is that not only do you never see his face, but you don't even know if he's human. He has four fingers per hand, so he could be an alien, or a robot, nobody knows. One of his helmet skins shows a robotic head under his shattered helmet...But that skin is called "N0t C4n0n," so the devs are just messing with everyone. Nothing screams "ninja" as much as an assassin who you can't even be sure is human, or even a living entity.
They all do use forms of ninja weapons except Leo ironically. His ninjato sword never actually existed. It’s a Hollywood creation if I remember correctly. It’s either the ninjato or ninjaken sword that’s totally made up. Either way, the others I believe do use ones that were used in some way. I wouldn’t be too surprised if they were similar to True ninja but also wouldn’t be surprised if they sadly fell short
Mindy Auron bo staffs were not exclusively Ninja, sai and nunchucks were not used by the Japanese those are Okinawa weapons, Okinawa to not become apart of Japan until much later There really is no such thing as ninja weapons anyway just Japanese weapons
Zero isn't just a sniper he can also be a great melee character or use shotguns or any guns depending on the build , he has a whole skill tree about melee damage and assassination and even his decepti0n skill multiplies melee damage more than gun damage
I like that they talked about zero in this video and his Sniping and Cunning skill trees. But what about his Bloodshed skill tree, where he dashes through the enemies slicing them up as he goes, all the while completely invisible. Is this also true to ninjas in real life?
The use of firearms makes a lot of sense. When people hear gunfire, they almost immediately start to panic. Panic clouds judgement and reasoning, resulting in the perfect cover for a ninja to carry out their task.
Also in terms of sniping (not in Borderlands, but real life), the rifles are typically shot from large distances sometimes going over a mile, and due to the power of the weapon, there are time when your target is dead before their friends even hear the shot. Sound does travel much slower. Makes sense as to why the targets is dead before the shot is heard.
@@cynthesizer_ I believe it was a .50BMG
@@allengordon6929 It was. A .50 bmg round fired from a Canadian C15 LRSW, or the McMillan Tac-50 if you go by the American name

Also, another Playstyle for Zero is just melee zero where you turn invisible and then sneak up to enemies from behind to kill them in one precise blow
shot gun rape?
i suppose so dragon, or just "hidden gun assasination" if you ask me
Lance Clemings Melee works much better, as you can keep doing it over and over again, as long as you kill the enemy with the melee strike.

The art of ninja is basically being an assassin.
I'd say Agent 47 isn't that far from being a ninja from Hitman games.
Borderlands 2, Griffin
And, depending on what types of games you like, it's an amazing, hilarious game that provides lots of fun, especially with friends.

Just another reason to do a Jakobs allegiance run as Zer0.
I wonder how skullgirls valentine would compare being a ninja nurse.
lunerblade13 Or is she a nurse ninja? Ha? No? Okay...

Of course, ninja were stealth and intelligence operatives. You don't succeed in that field of work by letting your tech stagnate.

The moment I saw Zero's introduction in Borderlands 2, I knew I had to play him.
im sure a more current and modern ninja would probably use a silenced rifled and probably other modern amenities
W.D Gaster actually, with a full sniper, you wouldn't need a silencer, because you can be far enough away that the sound won't travel. Now, a pistol with a silencer would be almost certain for close up missions

KashKey that too yes
With the range of some modern sniper rifles, you don't need a suppresser. By the time the bullet hits, you'll either be moving or lining up the next shot.
KashKey can always use a crossbow. Modern ones are terrifyingly powerful
So with Zer0 and Greninja out of the way, what about Scorpion? I'm very curious to see how he measures up because he's not exactly...subtle.
ARMJJB he takes off his mask in combat
Luke To reveal his skull face and breath fire!
APHAN TX Thats a very identifiable feature, a good ninja would hide that
Maybe there's a cultural reference? Gaijin isn't naive when it comes to this so i bet he has his reasons
I saw Joey's video with you uploaded and thought

You should do warframe and how ninja the warframes can be.
Ivara would be the most ninja one with maybe Loki or Limbo being other options.
Kori Kitsune what about Ash? 2 of his skills are based on ninja tools. Then again, Ash seems more assasination based

Love seeing you guy's co labs, hope to see more soon!:D
Every time I see that Hurricanger screenshot I can't help wishing we get a Sentai episode of Which Ninja. Is Shurikenger really a "ninja of ninja"
I realize its an incredibly stupid idea, but the idea of one of these for Ninja Brian cracks me up
I was really wanting to see what your opinion would be of Koga from Paladins but I think between this video and the comments on Road hog from the Genji video your opinion would probably rather favorable also the discussion would probably retread already tread territory. Great video I'm hoping to eventually become a patreon in the near future I've been loving your videos so far
Zer0 is not only lethal with sniper rifles, he's also a fucking hurricane up close.
The game even mentions this in its loading screen.
Wow, the timing of this video is great!
No, I'm not being ironic, I just started playing Borderlands 2 again yesterday, and, in my first playthrough I played as Zer0.
And the obvious emphasis on stealth and tactics for Zer0 is a given.
I love using the I infinity pistol with one of the Zer0 abilities I can't remember, but it makes the first bullet in the magazine do extra damage. Well look at that, the infinity pistol is always shooting it's first bullet so it always does extra damage.
Nice to see you so active again, Goombah.
Zero was the one person I played in borderlands and I just upgraded the melee, didn't even know death blossom existed 😅
Are there plans in the works for G.I. Joe's Snake Eyes or his main adversary Storm Shadow?
It's hard to get passed raiden spazzing out at the start. I can't stop laughing at that detail
Yay!
I've been waiting a while for this one yo.
Hey Gaijin Goomba!
Even though it's short/ This was quite entertaining./ Thank you very much.
Awesome work guys!
Yes! I've been waiting for this video!
Finally been waiting for this
finally the only episode i was really hype to see
what a great collab so few people talk about how guns influenced the ninja and vice versa this was truly a great watch now if you'll excuse me I have an anime man video to watch
Zero is my all time favorite Borderlands character. I've been waiting for this. Thanks.
Hey can you please look at Hidden phantom from MegaMan zero.
Thankg goodness, I thought I was the only one who wants to see an episode on him
Zero himself can be very sneaky in the zero series, maybe he can have a short segment during phantom's video
AlbaneEdge true
As well as Sharnaq from MegaMan ZX Advent.
Yes yes yes!
When will you be doing "Which Ninja" videos for the Power Rangers?
Also from a technological stand point a sniper rifle would be a ninja weapon because it's quick it effective it can be silent and the long range nature of the weapon can make it easier to escape.
Called it. X3 I need to brush up on my history of the sengoku jidai though since I missed that method of beheading but man what a way to go x.x
I also use Mios as my Kusarigama stand-in on occasion.)
I must say, it went better than expected.
(Especially when you've got a Frost using his snowglobe to keep the defense target, and by extension, you from taking unneeded damage.)
I may create a tweaked build that gives a little extra range and duration, so that fatal teleport and Bladestorm reach out to a more sniper-appropriate distance, and the duration for some extra time on the smokebomb for speeding to the end of a level.
It's fun, and I'll probably be running this setup for a while. At least until I get curious about Atlas' rework.
The fact that Nobunaga got back up from being shot at probably cemented his reputation as the "Demon King of the Sixth Heaven".
Omg i have been waiting for this episode for along time
I do like that you actually have to use his tools LIKE A NINJA in order to be any good with Zer0, his Deception is a mostly defense tool but can also be used for Offense, you have to wait for the deception to be close to wearing off to deal maximum damage, just like a ninja preparing and waiting for the best moment to strike.
Zer0 isn't just for sniping, but I get what you were going with that.
Great video nevertheless
Moon Conjunction as BGM was a good choice. I was listening to it, along with the rest of the soundtrack, only a few hours ago.
Funny thing is that in bl2 the zero I use is built completely around using his sword instead of sniping
I have a feeling that Zer0 is an alien of some kind, his head has a weird shape (though that could be just his helmet) and he has three fingers on each hand
Zero has his gun to sneak around far distances and also he has super strength
Well now... Didn't think i'd learn ninjas used guns today.
Great video as always Gaijin.Keep up the good work.
Red Bull as the representation for a harmful chemical was, quite probably, the highlight of this video for me.
I was about to resume reading for some competition.
Then this video appeared in my feed.
You win this time, Gaijin. You win this time . . .
Cool video on Zer0. Any plans to do one on FFXIV's Byakko and Four Lords Story? I'm sure the Hell's Lid dungeon alone has a ton of culture references.
Am I the only one that was shocked that he didn’t even mention the interchangeable color palettes
This bodes well for fans/
You both have greatly appeased/
You have gained honor.
You know I just remembered that in Sekiro the model used to get the flamethrower prosthetic is a nigiri teppo which is kinda weird tbh like yea I know why they used it but I find it weird that they would use a single shot hidden pistol as the model
Wow this was a pretty interesting video. So neat you can learn so much just from a video game character.
Talk about coincidence. I just started a new play through of Borderlands 2 last night.

Get that Shinobi a cannon.
Shinobi’s love cannons.
Oh haven't you heard the newest sensation sweeping the nation? Shinobi love cannons...
LMAO so nobunaga was just too pissed of to die at the time
Again, when I think of ninja, I think of agents of assassination/spying that work for the government as a secret police.
Nothing screams "ninja" as much as an assassin who you can't even be sure is human, or even a living entity.
well color me surprised, I thought the historic person was going to be Magauichi Saiga

Red Bull
I love this show
You guys rock! We need more Ninja facts!
And if the Ninja Materials run dry, we can make a Which Samurai out of it :D
he sin't entirely right, ninjas weren't assasins they were spies with posibility to be assasins
Meanwhile, in the universe of how I play Zer0:
Stabby stabby, cut cut cut. Who needs stealth when I heal with every stab?
What about the Ninja turtles or have you already done a video on them ?
curious josh he's definitely done Shredder.
Azure Griffin ya I guess they would have the same answer but I'd still like 2 see a video on it
They all do use forms of ninja weapons except Leo ironically.
Mindy Auron bo staffs were not exclusively Ninja, sai and nunchucks were not used by the Japanese those are Okinawa weapons, Okinawa to not become apart of Japan until much later
There really is no such thing as ninja weapons anyway just Japanese weapons
Another thing the game hammers into you with the loading hint.
'Zer0 is the only vault hunter without any skills to boost his defense.'
Yeah, zer0 is a glass cannon.
YEEEEESSSSSSS MORE WHICH NINJA!!! THIS IS THE BEST SHOW ON THE INTERNET!!!!!!
Zero isn't just a sniper he can also be a great melee character or use shotguns or any guns depending on the build , he has a whole skill tree about melee damage and assassination and even his decepti0n skill multiplies melee damage more than gun damage
When I saw this in my notifications, I thought you were going to talk about the world's greatest Smash 4 player.
I like that they talked about zero in this video and his Sniping and Cunning skill trees. But what about his Bloodshed skill tree, where he dashes through the enemies slicing them up as he goes, all the while completely invisible. Is this also true to ninjas in real life?
