I would love to see Sega endorse another fan project like this, seems just perfectly remade. They are still working through the zones obviously, so hopefully with official backing, they could really make it bigger!

Well they canceled that cuz it's too much, sadly. But people still working and on this project!
S3&K was getting remade like Sonic 2 HD originally, but unfortunately it was cancelled. Sonic 3 & Knuckles is a HUGE game, and while the same could be said for Sonic 2, think about the music, different paths depending on character and etc with S3&K. 2 HD is taking a LONG time, so imagine 3 HD!
Thankfully the Sonic 3 HD OST is still on UA-cam.
