The bongos are missing from the oscilloscope deconstruction (yes, the bongos are on the N64 version but only heard on the in-game version of the song and not the OST version, and are louder on the DS remake)
@@labbiesart sorry for the late comment. Yes and no, it’s not a part of SidzWiz, I used a DAW (like Fl Studio) and a sound font to get the exact instruments and make the song sound “deconstructed.” Then I use Sidwiz to load up the final product and render the video.
im bad at words but here's some interaction :)
Thank you! Express anyhow you wish!
Damn, in all these years I never noticed how JUICY those drums are in this song until you isolated them!
Heh, it’s the most satisfying thing about them.
Same
The strings in channel 3 (0:43) sound a lot like the ones from Ocarina of Time. Makes the theme more relaxing to hear.
I also caught that! Totally sounds like Ocarina of Time
I think it’s the same midi sample, it would make sense since the composer worked on both games
That is even more true when 0.75x speed
I didn't even know the n64's soundchip can be deconstructed like this!
The CPU is the soundchip.
Fun fact: this is reused in NSMB as the invincibility theme
Yep, it’s kinda cool.
It’s not exactly the same though
@@Nero-KD to be exact, it’s the same but more compressed on NSMB
@@mau5 I don't think it's the compression, it's more likely the fact that the DS has worse sound than n64, since cart size is much larger on the ds
Probably reused because of sm64ds. A lot of content is shared across both games.
this is like listening to a remix of the original song. great video
Thanks, I tried to make it flow and make it transition into each instrument and let each of them have a turn.
You no Nintendo hade to be in the studio jamming when they made this
Channel 0 - Acoustic Nylon Guitar
Channel 1 - Acoustic Bass

Now you have to C O O K
2:11 Now there’s something familiar
1:51 ultimate brain scratch oh my god
Imagine flying around with a jetpack then and while suddenly listening to this. 😊❤😊 That would be golden. More like Diamond!
I really love how they remixed SMW's Starman's theme and made it even better!
Play this at my funeral
Channel 2 🔥🔥
juiciest drums i’ve ever heard in my life.
that guitar in channel 1 sounds like the one in new super...
Also, my favorite part is: 1:52
May you do the MK64 Starman next this sounds so good 😅
That would be so good!
so good
Amazing, please keep doing!

Why does this sound so much better than the switch version?
The bongos are missing from the oscilloscope deconstruction (yes, the bongos are on the N64 version but only heard on the in-game version of the song and not the OST version, and are louder on the DS remake)
lol drums are juicy
Best soundtrack
This is dope! 🔥
are these being recreated from scratch?
i love this.
Nah, it's a direct rip from the game. I just try to find a soundfont for it.
thank you
Absolutely amazing. Btw, the bottom right corner is the noise channel?
Yep, that would be the drums
funny how they can fit 3 notes in 1 channel
I'm surprised they made this one song using only six sound channels.
n64 sound channels can play multiple notes at the same time.
Bum bum bam :3
This is what 6 of my braincells do sometimes
I like this!, how you did it??, it's pretty dope!!!
1:36
Nice❤
0:47 wtf 😮
0.75x sounds like the beta version of the wingcap
my ear tells me that this is the ds version of the wing cap, not n64
Where can I get a 3 minute version of channels 0, 1, 2, and 3
What program did you use to do this?
I used SidWizPlus (GUI). I also used an SM64 Soundfont so it sounds 1:1 with the original game.
@@mr.oscilloscope also what program do you use to listen to the Nintendo 64 channels? Is it part of sidwiz as well?
