I remember when we all had propane systems on our pickup, common in 60/70&early 80
Works great, if you had a flat just air it up

Something to think about on your measuring tool. Since you are using the same mass of water, in the same tube, and reading side by side with a loop at the bottom your reading is actually going to show double what the real movement is. This is because if it pulls up one inch "real movement", then the opposite side will also to go down the same amount. This means if high side goes up one, and low side goes down one, the difference shown will be 2 total. If you just put the end of hose in the water jug, it will then read correctly as you will only be looking at the side going up.

L.P.G. Liquified Petroleum Gas. Appreciate the vid. Personally I wouldn't recommended purging the system that way. Far easier and safer I think to turn off the tank and run the engine til it runs out of the fuel that was in the line from the tank.

Hi. So you connected one tube to the low pressure side of the vaporizer and the other tube to the high pressed side of the vaporizer and compared the water column pressure from the two lines?

Nice demonstration. I was hoping that you would show how I would adjust it if it's over pressurized.... :-/

Fuel lock off should be connected to port vacuum not manifold vacuum. The diaphragm is not designed for manifold vacuum.

Do you know where to get service manuals for this set-up? I have a 1984 motorhome with a dual fuel system set up on a Chevy 454 engine. It doesn't run on the propane. I am switching form gas to propane as per instructions on the manual but the engine stops after about one second of operation after switching to propane. I have the service manual for the engine but the dual fuel was not part of GM.

      www.scribd.com/doc/17379058/IMPCO-Training-Manual
here is a training manual for impco
You can search for your model on the web..type in model ancd manual in google
All dual systems have fuel lockout to stop both fuels from entering engine at the same time.
There will be an electric solenoid in the propane line that should be energized when you switch to propane.
Try cracking the line from that solenoid and see if propane flows from that valve when you switch..just give it a quick try as the propane gas should come out with a good blast...be careful.
Next you probably have a vacuum lock off that needs a tiny bit of vacuum to open it.
Without knowing what system you have and how its put together I cant diagnose from here.
Follow the fuel trail..you can do it..

I just installed an LPG gas system OMVL Brand on my Rover 75 V6 Automatic and I have gearbox problems, the Installer told me they did everything good and that the clutch slipping started on the same day that the installation was ready, was pure coincidence but I took it to an expert that repairs only Jaguars, Rovers and Rolls Royse and he assured me the problem is from the LPG system and the problem is a communication error between the Ecu of the engine and that of the Gearbox. Anybody had my same experience? I am from Malta

1 to 2 water column doesnt make sense. Most engines run on 10 to 11 water column wether it be lp or natural gas.

wondering if you can help? I have a forklift which is a Henley husky 12 which has a ford 4cyl 2711e convert with a beam 120a propane system. The problem I have is that the forklift runs fine when shescold and just been fired up, though when she gets hot after say 10mins she begins to struggle to rev properly like she is struggling to get fuel. you can put full throttle and she just sits all lumpy at idle revs struggling to do anything. then out of the blue she will pull through and rev normal for a few secs and then die off again. if I let her cool down for 15mins she will fire up again as normal until she gets warm and then do the same thing again. bare in mind shes an old girl so the engine runs a little hot anyway so im wondering if its too much heat causing this as the regulator we have the beam 120a same as the one in your video here is so hot that you can barely touch it... Im wondering what you can advise?

Hello Dear Friends,,, I am a owner of the 455 cui. Engine. It is working by “4-barrell Rochester QuadraJet carburetor” I own an American PONTIAC GRANDVILLE Car. I live in a wheelchair. There is something I want to learn from you, knowledgeable friends. I would be really happy if you could help me. What is the most appropriate "Propane Dual Fuel Mixer" Kit that should be installed on the 7.4 Liter (455 cubic inch) engine on my car, so that it works like it works with gasoline without any problems, and also shows smooth running performance in daily use? From whom do I learn about Brand and Model information? From whom can I get technical information? Who knows about this subject?? Could you please tell me which brand and model kit is the most suitable kit for this engine?? I am a good hearted person. because throughout my life, “my first priority has always been to help people”. And Now, on this issue, I am asking you very seriously, "BECAUSE I NEED YOUR HELP". because I'm sure of this; If you were in my place, and you asked me for help on a subject I know, I would definitely help the person in front of me, no matter who they are.
NOTE: I want to run my car on Propane, Yes.. BUT,
I just don't want to use only gasoline. I really need this car as I can't walk!!! If I run out of propane on the road, I HAVE TO "START THE ENGINE ON GASOLINE" and CONTINUE MY WAY.
I hope to hear your suggestions soon
Thank you very much for your helpfulness and sensitivity.
    God Bless You 🙏💙🙏
