ya, I really like this version more, because the beat is faster than the other version/has the original beat, and because it kept the repeating parts from the original Japanese one
(like the heh-heh-hello, which would be the ko-ko-konnichiwa from the original, while the other just has a 7 second lasting ''hello'')

Okay I've already heard that story but- (hugs you) you just made it incredible.
This is probably the best cover i've heard of this song. In the bridge of the original (which seemed to have translation problems), they seemed to prefer insanity and dismiss sanity as boring. In yours, you show it as a small window of mental clarity, but you are also aware that it will quickly fade and just like that *snap* you are back to your insane self. Basically, in this version, i don't see this as a romanticism of insanity like the translation i saw did, instead, it is a very accurate portrayal of how someone who's insane thinks and operates.
TL;DL: i prefer your version to the vocaloid versions or at least the shitty translation that i saw on the most famous version of this song with IA and Miku.
Also, i like the way you covered up the part where the beat decides to pitch-shift at 3:28.

The translation I saw didn't really seem to 'glorify' insanity in my opinion. There were parts where it seemed like they were basically saying insanity IS bad, it chains you, but because it chains you, you can't escape, and go farther and farther down the deep dark pit of insanity.
In the 'clarity' part, it starts off peaceful, where they seem normal... and even then, they slip into it. Like nobody's safe from going insane, if they let their guard down.
Just how I interpret the translation I saw on the original Japanese song.
I'm sure that wasn't their intention, but to me it kind of comes across like that for a good 80% of the song if you read it literally due to undoubtedly there being some translation errors and aren't thinking about it.
Of course, some parts do have that "chained and dragged back into insanity" feel to them, so i know where you're coming from.
I interpret the VERY end as true reformation though, as the sound right before the song ends is very similar to the sound plays when some villains reform.

Because people think being insane is "cool" but really it fucking isn't. It's horrifying and scary to those and those around them, because what you would see isn't real and you don't know if it is or isn't - Jani for example.
Actually, I beg to differ. See, I spend a lot of time with my cousin, who has schizophrenia. She knows she does, in fact- she is very well aware of it, yet she still has hallucinations, hears voices, has trouble explaining herself, listening to others, panic attacks, hurts herself, hurts others, has severe confusion, etc. Having a severe mental disorder/issues and not being able to meet what society considers "normality" is technically the definition of "insane" in legal terms. Therefore, my second cousin Olivia, (classified as insane) knows it- people can know they are insane. They don't always of course, but sometimes they can.
I guess it just depends on the person...

Thank you for this message. Btw I have autism, ADHD, ADD, high anxiety, and I'm seeing a physiatrist for this and take medicine for it but I have also had hallucinations and have lost touch with reality once or twice. (i.e. grabbing things from midair that aren't there.)

Frosts is just to slow for the song, the lyrics themselves I can like, but the beat of it is just way too slow for the actual song.
I'm starting to understand something in the lyrics. It's more of a poetic way to say that life is inside, the mind is but a mirror, eyes are but windows to the soul... And the illusion of reality is in the eye of the beholder. Very timeless advice with this song.

People seem to think insanity is a cool thing to have, because Jeff the Killer and all his pals are insane. Don't get me wrong, I like creepypasta as well (thats why I'm here on this channel) as well as SCP things, and real-life horror stories. And I understand that you want to be like your favorite characters. But insanity isn't something you should wish for. Seeing the little girl in the brown dress everywhere you go, being constantly stalked by the red eyes in the shadows, never having a true sense of alone-ness (in a bad way) and having stupid urges that always come at the worst times (like opening the car door on a freeway, jumping off the stairwell, stabbing yourself with that pencil, etc) it's really not something you should wish for. I'm not insane, but I'm pretty darn close. And it's not something I'd wish on anyone, no matter how much they piss me off...
