Asian Zeos. Keep it up man. We need more reviewer on different items. It keeps everyone in check as not everyone is always right if we kept relying on the same source. Looking forward for more reviews. Now improvement to be made is prehaps the mic to be closer to you.
HI, thanks for the review. I think it is the only one available online for XA-10 at this moment. I am rather interested in this device. I am from EU and getting equipment which is widely available in U.S. is complicated. Think all Drop stuff, JDS Labs, even Schiit is out of stock here. So XA-10 seem to tick all the boxes for me. I want an all-in-one device with great sound and good build quality. How is the volume with sensitive headphones: 32 ohm ones or IEMs. At what volume level 1-100 on *low* gain is it listenable? Also how really hot does it get? Is it warm to touch or is it too hot to touch at all?
Hi so what I will say that xa-10 will off course drive low ohm headphone or iems it will not burn your headphone or iems, it will get hot, will more like worm, you can put you hand on it as long as you want, but I have no idea if it will get warmer doing the summer.
I have try dx7 before, But it’s a long time ago, I will say what I have remembered, will dx7 will be a better dac then xa-10 they do have balanced output at back for your amp. But use for just a tabletop amp or a tabletop amp&dac, I will give that to xa-10, I do like the amp part from xa-10
DX7 sounds “better” if you like plain flat clean sound. XA 10 is way more enjoyable to listen to as with its class A buffer it sounds more musical, smooth and overall pleasant to listen to for longer periods of time on literally every genre of music. Planar headphones like the Sundara are just pure butter on this little beast.

Sorry for the late response I got a new microphone I will see how it will do, And thank you
Nice-looking desktop dac/amp. I'm just wondering how it is with sensitive IEMs. I can't seem to find any specs regarding output impedance. Thanks!
im thinking of buying, but worry that it not suitable for IEM especially sensitive IEM like cmapfire solaris..
I think the Low gain will do

Is the RCA out line out or pre amp? If pre amp, how is the output selection controlled? Thanks.
Did I say pre amp, sorry my mistake it’s RCA out
Can you try the xduoo ta-10 please as i am considering buying it.
I just received the Ta10R, the new ta-10, but it will take me like two week to make review videos😂

DX7 should sound "better" but this will have more power for planars
