Here's my 2 cents. This is not merely a "garment"--this is ART!! And ART doesn't have to be symmetrical EVER. Machines do symmetrical & perfection--Artists do WHATEVER THE HECK inspires them at the moment! OK????

Your sweater is beautiful, and so inspiring! So much spinning - and so much organization. I vote for leaving the sleeve the way she is - more character! I'm spinning a polwarth/silk blend, and was amazed when I washed the first (little) skein to see how fatter the finished the finished was. But oh so soft and squishy.

Gorgeous Sweater! It turned out beautifully! Well done you!!!!
Isn't it interesting that the sleeves are bit different, despite even dividing of the fibre.... typical for handspun, and part of the adventure.
It looks wonderful just as it is, but whether or not to rework the sleeves all depends on how you want the finished sweater to look, how you will be most happy with it.
What a wonderful adventure you showed us today, thanks for sharing! ❤

I think you were absolutely right to make sure the arm joins matched up with the body, it just makes a pretty accent stripe across the whole of the project, but I really adore that the bottom of the sleeves don't mirror each other. Fabulous! Leave it as it is, in my opinion! I am just finishing a pair of 2 at a time socks with commercial yarn, the stripes were matching perfectly until 1 ball had a knot and the striped sequence was way off. I put it down for a day and then knew I had to make both socks match. I glad it I did. BUT if it had been my hand spun yarn I would not change it, it is the art of my hands and there is beauty in the imperfections! It is the signature of my work! ❤️🧶❤️

It has been many years since i have knitted anything and i have invested in circular needles that i have never used before, Having biught the wheel and lots of accessories and now the new needles, this may be the most expensive home made cardi ever! However i am loving it! I am feeling proud of my achievement, and big thanks to you and others for all the amazing free tutorials. I have 2 sleeves to do and the neck and i am done! I love it! I too am torn about frogging to match colors on the sleeves. 1 part of me says leave it because it's a wearable photo to remind you of your journey from start to finish. 2nd part of me is saying "you're going to go crazy with the off set! Fix it" but that's me. I do like the left sleeve more than the right because you don't appear lopsided and it balances with the body as well.
Update: after seeing your excitement and pride with the left sleeve.... Fix the color issue. It will just be a minor bump in the road and you will be way more proud of yourself in the overall spectrum. Plus, it will just add another "mile" to the journey with another I did it aspect in there
