Actually the problem is he bought them at the supermarket. Most seeet potatoes and potatoes are sprayed so shoots don’t come out or not as easy so they last longer on the shelf. Best option is to buy them at the greenhouse or with someone who sells with the intent of going in your garden. So they aren’t sprayed.
You can’t wash off the GMO lol . The whole sweet potato is the GMO. GMO stands for genetically modified organism, which is pretty much all our fruits and vegetables.
Does this mean I can trim them? I just asked this question because I have one that’s got major roots going and I want to trim them back so they don’t take over the whole pond.
I put two in my pond and the roots have gone CRAZY… can you trim them back? 🤔 I know some plants you can trim roots and some you can’t…. But the root system of these things is out of hand and I don’t want them taking over the whole pond or other plants
Water temperature is key! Warmer tanks will grow better roots

Wrong
In pretty much every aspect of hydroponics colder water is always recommended.
And what friend said above.
I think adequate sunlight is the key in order for the potato to grow fast and healthy.
Wdym “wash all the gmos off”? Was it a joke? Still cool video
Guessing you may not live in the US. Here they spray pesticides on most crops to prevent diseases and pests.
I think so lol
You can’t wash off the GMO lol .

🤣🤣🤣
My man said pointy said down. Lol
I saw other people do this and they eventually rotted is there like a certain amount of time they last? Seems like a few months atleast
Glad I saw this because I just planted one and was disappointed I didn't see roots after like 2 days
Wash GMOs off?! 😂
They spray them with a rooting inhibitor after harvesting so Make sure to get that off!
Sometimes it takes longer. But it's pretty cool when it finally works.
Somebody somewhere said that you only need 1/4 the normal amount of roots to support a plant in an aquaponic setting.
Does this mean I can trim them? I just asked this question because I have one that’s got major roots going and I want to trim them back so they don’t take over the whole pond.
will it rot? i saw people say that it would
They look good in the garden too
Do you have a fish tank
Does it work without sun light ?

I think you need to wait longer for the one that didn’t work
I hope you were making a joke with the GMO statement
Just buy the potatoes that already have roots on it at the grocery.
You will save time and effort.
I thought this was yammie noob
What if it grabs and eats the fish with its roots
What about saltwater
Wash off the GMOs? The potato IS the GMO
Is this viable for long term ?
Long term? Youll def run out of space before it doies off ;)
biological potato do bettter, but expensive
You mean pesticides not GMOs..
Sweet potatoes same as yams??? 🤦🏻♀️ asking for a cousin
It may have something to do with the news. These days no one likes a commentator.
I did this and the root system was perfect for my Molly babies to survive a community tank
And the holder is like 87 dollars.
will it produce yams?
I think if you propagate the slips and put em in soil it will, but not in this state...
Okay. So will you try growing marijuana or not? In this set-up..!
Store bought potatoes are sprayed with an anti sprouting agent. They can grow.but not as well as seed potatoes (potatoes sold for planting).
Wash GMOs off?
Gmo...genetically modified..your washing pesticides.....herbicide....and ..fungicides can't wash out genetic modifications
.
Will rot eventually
Что это?
