This is a very good presentation on the origins of video gaming and eSports. I'm surprised that no one has commented on this for over 2 years. Who would have thought that eSports began at the Standford U. lab of AI in 1972. Sadly if you ask any eSports fan or player today, majority wouldn't be able to tell you about the origin of the activity they are very much engaged in.
