I actually got my melee weapons done about 2 days ago and after getting diamond on them I'll never touch another melee on that game again I kept getting so frustrated with the melee weapons cause sometimes they would never count the kills I needed for the camos

On the lower left part of that screen there should be a summary of your elims, deaths, etc. (Remember folks, elims count your assists as well, not just your [actual] kills). had started the camo grind when the game came out and got diamond launchers, SMG and meleeS and a BUNCH of other guns in other classes but then lost motivation and have picked it back up recently and am about to get two more ARs done
Finally got atomic this morning, I had to finish the Owen gun and the Ratt Pistol. Stayed up until 5:45 in the morning finishing bloodthirsties. Holy Hell im so glad its done. I wish i had at least made progress for most guns months ago but oh well it's over now.

The reason that happens is they kill u before the animation fully goes through if u look it takes a while for the kill to go through whenever that animation happens.
