Thanks mate. I changed the oil and filter today (GT250R) after watching your video, I used 'Castrol 4T' oil, which I have always used in all of my bikes. Very good video. The bike shop would have charged me at least $60 to $70 just for the labor. Thanks again.
Hey mate you seem to know a bit about these, recently my gt650r has been stalling at the traffic lights sometimes when it's at operating temp could that be the spark plugs?

Hey bro can u help me out with the f1 light coming on and the bike stalling while riding ? Is it a fuel injection problem u think ? Or have you come across a problem like that ikon your bike ?
I have a question you might be able to answer.. I'm a new rider well havent been able to ride yet cause the bike I bought is used and needs alot of work done, anyway the question is I have a 2012 hyosung gt250r and I'm not able to spot out the coolant, does it even take coolant
In most circumstances, I'd agree with you about the advertising, but there really is a difference between motorcycle and car oils. There is a separate standard developed for bikes. It's not going to kill your engine immediately or anything, but there are motorcycle specific oils for a reason. Actually, Shell Rotella Diesel T5 and T6 oil are both widely used by many enthusiasts. So much so that Shell actually decided to certify them for the motorcycle specification JASO MA (however not the most current MA2). Car engines typically don't rev to 15,000 RPM like many motorcycles do. Motorcycle oils also carry the dual task of lubricating the engine as well as the transmission AND clutch. Not to mention, there are still some bikes out there that are AIR-cooled. Motorcycle oil typically takes much more abuse than passenger car oils. For this reason, moto oils have a much higher shear stability and other important characteristics.
If you truly want to know how your oil is holding up in your motorcycle, you can actually have it analyzed by a laboratory. In the U.S. there are a few companies that do this. You send them a sample and they will give you a break-down of various criteria, metal content, and national averages for your make/vehicle/oil/etc.
Here in 2023 i needed this right to the point and i didn't have a 10mm socket big ups bro
