One correction: They add new character at mid-January, but that Dec 21:st is new character QUEST. So those character quest Tifa, Aerith and Cloud have that added new story, there will be new one for Barret too.
Honestly really happy with this, people started complaining about how this game doesn't forecast what's coming up and then they drop their plan for the next month, whether that was a response or already planned good on them. The actual stuff coming is real exciting too, already expected new years banners with everyone wearing Yukata and whatnot, but getting confirmation of a new character (Yuffie lol) as well as reruns and all this cool stuff has me really excited. Also the free draws are insane, if you ignore the game telling you to buy things every 5 seconds (which for someone like me who isn't prone to spending is easy) this game has been super generous honestly.
I knew Christmas/New Year's was going to be LIT! Those free draws alone are great! I've actually gotten some pretty decent luck on the free pulls so far. I even spent like 170 draw tickets from the recent events and got quite a few 5 stars! I've only had like 3-4 bad pulls with no 5 star. One of the free draws I got 3-5star weapons for Lucia! I can't remember what they were off the top of my head but I do remember one of them was a good weapon I've been using a lot as a stat stick. I also got REALLY lucky on one draw and got a copy of Heavy Hauser. IDK why the game has been so generous with giving me that weapon but it is now at OB8 and is the ONLY weapon I have that is pearled that's NOT a free weapon!
I just used 20 pots that were expiring on the 25th to farm up some bahamut memories 😂. Could’ve saved em for the coop but didn’t think it was coming that fast. Hope they give us more of these upcoming release schedules. Even not knowing what banners are up knowing when to plan for farming is super helpful
@@jacksonstubbs2999 if bahamut coop drops the 24th you can probably just use it there. At 60 stamina a pop 30 pots is only half of what you need for the typical 50x run missions we get with new summons if you’re running it on x3 each time
Oh I'm glad I watched this, I only read the notice and saw January mentioned and was a little irked that December had been lack luster for events (and I still feel as though a third shop should have been added for the giftuar event, I have too much stuff and running it just so I can open the prize has been a chore for a week now) but this vid says the event drops tomorrow. Awesome!
been playin again since steam release, dumped all my energy everyday in lvling my 3 main chars and they started at 50 and now they are 63. Glad the content was low so i could catch up. Hyped for the new stuff now after i catch up. Great update!

Which one do you think it will be? Crisis Core? OG? FS? If we get new characters generally it is from the story which has the playable characters. If they do OG we get Yuffie but she is just a character not characters. Crisis Core, perhaps a playable Tseng and Cissnei? But they aren't playable in Crisis Core-- but are playable in Before Crisis. First Soldier could potentially yield new characters, if they are digging into Sephiroth's past, we would see a young Angeal and Genesis. We could even get new P0 Soldiers like Glenn, Lucia, and Matt. I don't know if you ever played the First Soldier mobile game before it went offline. There was a trailer with three other P0 soldiers with CGI models from the FS mobile game near the end which I actually wrote fanfictions for them for my own headcanon until they decide to use them. The one with the gray hair that everyone thought was Sephiroth I wrote one for him and named him Laurel Heartwick. The other had his hair in dreads whom I named Doran Raider and the final who challenges Bahamut alone I called him Jacob Wheeler. Here's my introductory to it: Deep within Midgar in the bowels of Shinra, years before the fated journey of Cloud to Midgar, the soldier program began choosing the best of the best. Shinra used propaganda of a young Sephiroth barely 15 years old to inspire and get citizens around the globe to join Shinra's soldier program. Several hundred candidates applied, but only a fraction of them made it. Three notably soon to be well known were Glenn Lodbrok, Lucia Lin, and Matt Winsord. Not too far behind were another trio that were no less remarkable, but not celebrated. Laurel Heartwick, Doran Raider, and Jacob Wheeler. The three young men were waiting patiently for their superior officer to give them orders and were passing the time trading stories getting acquainted. *Laurel Heartwick* A gray haired young man who had joined Shinra to become part of Soldier, stands with two other young men whom he was grouped with. They are all nervous about the upcoming examinations as they have all been working so hard to prepare for. This particular young man has blue eyes and stands just under six feet. He is a talented swordsmen and envies Sephiroth since he resembles him and grows tired of being compared to. Laurel knew his skills were above average, but from what he had heard, there is no comparison. Laurel was pretty disciplined and trained almost as much on his off hours. *Doran Raider* Corel resembled an old Western town, one that seemed stuck in the time of cowboys and chocobos. Of course there were two big ranch style homes by the two riches people, the mayor and the owner of the mines. Corel was not a town for the feint of heart as most of the people were employed in the coal mines, the rest were either worked for the mayor or were servants for the Shinra affiliate who owned the coal mines. The town went through periods of peace and unrest as pay was always an issue. Mako had not yet become mainstream energy at that point in time, but it was fast coming. The monsters outside of town were not to be trifled with which kept many outsiders away. *Jacob Wheeler* Jacob Wheeler grew up in Kalm which was a mid-sized town full of mostly middle class and upper middle class families. The biggest industry was that of the mythril mines. During this time the Midgar Zolom had not revealed itself if it was there during that time, and many miners used good strong chocobos with wagons to get the ore back to town. Jacob and his sister came from a well to do family of merchants. In addition to going to school, Jacob and his sister Susan helped out at the shop. Both helped with stocking the store, unloading trucks, being the store clerks, and janitorial duties. Susan really enjoyed the work as it was a break from academic pursuits, while Jacob loved to read books on history, mythology, and fictional stories. Their uncle had a store in Junon which he, his wife, and three kids ran. His father was a shrewd businessman, while his mother was actually a school teacher. All through primary school Jacob and Susan had the privilege, or curse in some cases, of having their mom teach certain subjects for them. The character announcement on the 21st is the character quests. Right now we only have Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith. Based on the picture we are at minimum getting a Barret story quest. The new characters will be announced in January. That draw on the 31st is free not paid according to the wording. I was excited to see this announcement when I logged in and I am hoping it brings some more love to the game.
Reruns as new content? Yesterday, I decided to play my Star Rail for the evening. I really liked it. I am not having as much fun playing Ever Crisis as i was playing Star Rail.
HSR is an incredible game! It does take a lot more time sadly for me but I loved my experience with it. They did announce the events would return so I am not surprised we are seeing Sephiroth especially for new steam players

The only new game mode I want, with a caveat: Multi-party dungeons. The caveat is that make it much easier to level characters to the current or even previous lvl cap.
Same here. I beat first level and thought I will try rest when all my characters are lvl 65. I now have 6 characters at max level, so good time to run co-op Bahamut soon.

The “new characters” part def throwing me in for a loop but I’m telling everyone to temper expectations as this game has been LITTERED with typos since launch of the game… I’m not saying we won’t get more than one character but don’t be upset or act super surprised if it’s one, lol… That said, while I’m PRAYING for Yuffie (it just makes sense as the closest character to release story wise) I have a “long shot” theory that they could decide next month they’ll drop “Before Crisis” and give us 2-3 new characters along with that storyline. Again, it’s a long shot and I personally doubt it but I don’t have many other ideas if they actually decide to drop multiple characters in a patch.
I'm confused over which chapter we are getting in January. Normally they tease a part of the chapter but this time they showed 3 storylines. Dos it mean we are getting a new chapter for 3 storylines? It would explain new playable character Yuffie because ff7 would be chocobo farm and mythril mine and after that we could see Yuffie at the end of it. Also curious about all the new events especially Sephiroth. I'm really hoping they won't increase the difficulty as I really want that icon. Also very surprised about the huge amount of content we are getting during holidays time. I expected an event and that we may have a rather more quiet time. But they went all out. Whoa.
I wouldn't be surprised if they'll use Ever Crises to hype up Rebirth. I'm excited though!! I look forward to the new chapter and characters. The free summons are crazy!! :o Maybe it's to help Steam players catch up, perhaps?

Im definitely intrested to see what this massive amount of content has to offer i just wish i didn't dump a ton of stamina pots into leveling characters and a bit into the hell house

Only thing i want is for them to rework the crisis dungeons to be worth using the 3 tikets we get on a weekly basis, like give mithril ore even if it's only 1 per S+ rerun or even better introduce a new special premium quest that gives 1 mithril ore per day this way at least once a month you are guaranteed to get a weapon to 90. Another cool thing would be another type of tower that resets every 2 weeks just like abyss in genshin or memory of chaos in HSR.
