I know I’m late to the conversation, but is that true in the books? The carno really could cloak like that? I don’t remember that part. Was it something ingen gave it the ability to do? Or part of its natural biology?
Ngl, favorite part is the guy and Stego just standing side by side. Feels satisfying to watch. Two worlds not meant to come across each other, and the books and movies show exactly why they shouldn’t, yet this moment of man and dinosaur standing side by side felt serene.
For those of you who are wondering what’s going on. In the Jurassic Park book series, there’s were carnivorous dinosaurs that could camouflage themselves quite well. Even other predatory animals are aware of them and make sure to stay away from there territory.
@@Wamp-u6syou could tell a carno is near by smell and hearing. an ambush predator, the books carnotaurus gave off a smell. also their movements are subtle but if you're very perceptive you could tell it's location, if I remember the book correctly.
I dunno. I have it on good authority that most threatening dinosaurs pretty much spend all day roaring. Prey species walking A to B. Predators hunting.. yep all screaming dawn to dusk.
I thought the stego was frozen in fear at first, but now my guess is she was in a fighting stance maybe. Like, she knew the carno was there, so she was trying to listen for it or locate where it was.
Just got caught up with all your short films and my god you capture everything so well. The pacing, the tension, the color grading, THE DETAILS, even how well you depict the dinosaurs and love how you show them a good amount in so many various settings and scenarios which we should of have saw in the films….honestly hope you don’t stop making these anytime soon as selfish as that might sound cause these are too good 😭 this is how the jp sequels should have been.
There is some research indicating that the T-Rex did not hunt like they showed in the movies, but would instead lay down on the floor and make these loud, vibrating growling noises. I was genuinely expecting this to be the case in the video, but this was even more terrifying. The sounds, the plant right in front of him moving but having no idea why. I am hooked.
This is some impressive work bro... taking those smaller incidents from the novel and creating short films, your JP Short Films are successfully delivering the exact same experience of watching the first Jurassic Park movie. It brought back those old childhood memories.... keep them coming! Excited to see more videos on Jurassic Park and also incidences from The Lost World novel. keep up the good work.
I absolutely love this. I've been trying to write a story centered on Hurricane Clarissa but couldn't really get the proper idea going. Seeing this helped me a ton. Your videos are the best!
This is my favorite one great job great great job. Hopefully we do get a movie like this, showing how it all went down when hurricane Clarissa hit Sorna and to see the things he had to do to make it out alive while releasing dinosaurs
You have the best channel on UA-cam. I loved Michael Crichton’s books as a kid, and Jurassic park was my favorite movie. None of the sequels captured the feeling, but you do! You’re better than the ones getting paid millions.
And 100 Miles to the east, a lone Predator picks this up and smiles grimly, a new prey in his sight....one his people haven't fought for millions of years.... Another great one, dude! Keep them coming!
Honestly? For a blender animation, this is pretty amazing! The decision to intentionally release the dinosaurs is a curious one, though… it makes me wonder what catastrophe protocols were in place regarding Jurassic Park’s operation. I mean, besides that Lysine contingency that didn’t do anything. :T
This is exactly the movie ive been wanting. Something that takes place in between 1 and 2 and during the events hurricane Clarissa. And with this kinda tone and atmosphere. And woth elements from the The Lost World novel. I love this! This is probably my favorite one of yours.
Oh hey, the hidden bigger Dilo that is usually briefly mentioned, I am glad to see that. Its briefly mentioned by Nedry who taunts the smaller dilos about having bigger siblings. Though I assume the Dilos were way to dangerous so the smaller dilos are straight out show animals. However I believe there was subtext (my memory screwing with me) that mentions that a lot of Sorna was not prepared for the tropical storm, and even if there were shelters, it was easier and faster to evacuate. And I think a script mentions an area acting as a sort of corp town to house employees. OF course I am sure after the storm the whole place is raptor neighborhood.
Nice reference to the carno from the books. The puff of breath inn his face definitely had that oh shoot horror movie feel. I liked it & really surprised me. I looked the color of the lights in the stegosaurus 's played & i felt like there was a nice glow & veins it arteries in them. But if that was correct .... Well nicely done & accurate touch. Man, I'd love a straight up JP rated R horror movie. But, I'd also love a PG-13 "crazy dude lives amongst the animals" type story too. Your videos are scratching an itch with the horror.
Nicely done! I’m happy you included the old Carno from the books! Though I want to add that their Camouflage ability is not THAT good in the books. You can make out their shapes pretty easily, wich is why they stick to night and shadow.
Makes sense. No animal can turn completely invisible as this would involve a lot more than changing its skin and to turn completely invisible even its eyes would make said creature blind.
Dude casually walks inside a broken dino enclosure amidst evacuation warning about approaching natural calamity 😂 Fully aware that there are some creatures that can camouflage
A lot of good stuff in this one. I love when he drives his jeep between the brachiosaur's legs. Good tension and building up and the creature itself is intriguing. It seems like some kind of photo-Indominus Rex.
Hes obviously read the books, and pays attention. Both this and the Nedry escape, where Nedry holds his torn intestine. This is like cloaking to a Predator degree of sophistication where it can assume the texture of curved glass . . .
